Having over 170 games under his belt it was his job to call the shots and demand the ball… not leave it to a 4 game rookie 5/8 or a 20yo hooker.

100% at one point Luciano was just loitering at dummy half. It was the main issue alongside the fullback.

Even in the Newy & Storm games Hastings had to jump into dummy half a lot. I think he is honestly still 1-2 years away from week to week first grade but thrown into the deep end

Similar traits to our halfback really, has some class but not a leader. Not durable either.

He was bang on, it's always been Brooks problem. He never owns games, he doesn't make the right decisions when it gets tough and he just generally isn't a smart footballer.

Cronk has every right to state his opinion on halfback play but he's also got to realize he is in the history books for being the playmaker responsible for this embarrassment on the biggest stage. Funnily enough I've never heard him go into an in-depth analysis of how he butchered that GF so badly🤣. What was he doing that day? His sinews must have all been buggered🤷🏽‍♂️

I would only hang onto 2 of our current forwards. Jo and Stef. Everyone enjoyed the way the ball was being thrown around during the opening round. Only made possible by our pack, but alas they only had 40min in them for this season.
The rebuild of the pack has begun. Stef re-signed. Api and Papi signed. But the job is not finished.
Now is not the time to panic and sack the coach or the halfback.

I agree, By that theory - We should've beaten everyone in every game he doesn't play...
Brooks turns all our Origin players into every other teams 17-30 Players.
