Brooks Why????

@bigsiro all good. I just don’t like Moses one bit and am glad our club didn’t keep him.

I do agree that at times in games he does go missing but I think he is a good 7.

I actually feel bad for Brooks he should have gone to the storm or another club when he had the chance.

Another quality post @jirskyr 😛oint_up: I'm loving these most recent posts from our forumers :relaxed:

I'd just like to revisit this thread to laud Mitchell Moses and the way he stood up tonight against the Bulldogs.

Time to see a doctor for your fixation.

I don't know what you mean, the last conversation of this thread is just 3 days ago. Very relevant to the topic at hand.

very tongue in cheek... lol - Mitchell "couldn't part the Red Sea" Moses

@TCL Tankie did it again last night. The stats tell the story.
Tackle efficiency rate is good for a laugh. Most of the columns have a - next to them. Great game manager.

@Fitzy05 Glad you raised it, I was specifically coming back to re-visit this thread.

The actual first time I want Mitchell Moses to do something important for the Eels and he fails abysmally. I don't know if NRL stats are finalised but they have him as 18 metres gained, 0 hitups, 0 line breaks, 0 LB assists, 0 try assists, 0 line engaged runs, 0 tackle breaks, 0 play-the-balls, 11 tackles, 4 MT, 1 ineffective tackle, kicked 2/4 and both were in front.

That's basically the definition of failing to take charge. Apart from goal kicking, you literally couldn't have done less to get involved in the match - didn't get tackled once and didn't set up any successful attack, in an important finals-intensity match.

If he gets just one more conversion then Broncos lose.

He totally dogged it on the Boyd try. For whatever reason, only known to him, thought there were spiders on the ball and shied away from it. Plus he missed a crucial shot at goal, being caught on the last, forward passes in the attacking 20. That isn’t handling the occasion.

Personally, I didn't give a toss when Moses left, and I wouldn't want him back now either. As to comparison with Brooks I think they're similar by way of both going missing at stages and being inconsistent.

Brooks I still question whether halfback is his best position but I'd still want him in the team whereas Moses is good riddance. I stand by my question as to whether he may be a better 5/8 than half.

What is the difference between a 7 or 6 in the modern game..?

Just an example Luke Keary has twice the TRY assists than Coops ..kicks for as many metres and absolutely murders him for run metres...Controlled everything they did in winning last years GF but doesn't wear the number 7..

You can describe Slimy in one word - "TANKER"

One of life's highlights the day he left the Tigers.

wouldn't be surprised if he did tank this game against the donkeys on purpose so it will be harder for us to make the 8

Cleary did the wrong thing to WT in many ways but not catering to slimeys desires was not one of them.I give him full marks for that we are well rid of moses

@2005magic Yes Brooks has sub par games. If his attack isn't troubling the defence, he'll put in in defence and contribute.
If a player has stats of 18 metres gained, 0 hitups, 0 line breaks, 0 LB assists, 0 try assists, 0 line engaged runs, 0 tackle breaks, 0 play-the-balls, 11 tackles, 4 MT, 1 ineffective tackle, kicked 2/4 and both were in front...like Moses did. The NRL should have a look at if this was match fixing.
