Brutally honest opinion on our halves

Moses has a go in defence, Brooks, bit too pedestrian and too much of arm grabbing

50+ First Grade games and I don't see much improvement there sadly

All hype no delivery

I thought that was one of Brooks better games…in a pathetic team effort meh..

I believe the club is still on a winner with both halves ,I thought Brooke's was coming along nicely under Potter…but has gone backwards under Taylor. If the club can jag a true NRL coach I firmly believe both are going to be worth every cent.

I would offer them 300k each take it or leave it. Their egos are way ahead of their pay grade at this stage of their careers.

There was a kick tonight Moses put in when it was only 12-6 and we had a 5 minute run where we had the better of the play with a bit of momentum and went so far dead it could have almost put a hole in the fence, and completely killed our momentum.

That was terrible. I thought Brooks played well. Robbie was good but he did the good old hog play that is one of his pet plays as well as one of his newer plays which is the pass on the ground on the 5th tackle.

Was that the one where Noffa saved the day by forcing the drop out? That was terrible. The things 900k buys you these days.

That was it.

I don't even think Robbie is to blame. He made some good runs and defensively he isn't the problem but he is overpaid and undelivering.

I think that some of the problem is that we overpay players and that means that you aren't getting value for money out of your squad.

Definitely looked more a case of age than ego.

They seemed rushed/panicked.

They'll get better.

Sure they've played 40-50 games, but in a largely reserve grade squad.

That's surely not going to help the pace of improvement.

Last nights performance was shameful …..lots of people are blaming JTand he does hold some responsibility, however, when he was elected coach he came in to teach a young side the NRL structures required at this level to be competitive..the result was player and forum meltdown," these structures are boring, get rid of Taylor was the call from the forum and fan base",the young "GUNS" demanded JT let them off the leash and let us play what's in front of us....overhyped,overrated and overpriced kids, with not a clue about senior rugby league,NYC stars NRL flops so far....

When you have very little in the bank, you can't buy quality players or decent depth players...we are now paying the penalty for previous frivolous spending, investing in potential and hype as well as trying to keep the boys club together...

But by all means sack Taylor and get whoever you want, the cycle will continue,if he goes there should be players carrying his bags for him, they at least owe him that much...

Mate, I thought it was my imagination but you're right, Robbie's pass on tackle 5 has hit the grass at least once a week in the last 3 games.

There's nothing id like better than to see Brooks and Moses become superstars, for the Tigers of course.
But what I don't understand is when I look at all the other 19, 20 and 21 year olds who are already slaying them consistently I have ask myself is the hype on these 2 justified. Sure they are good, but are they that good?
There are at least a dozen younger players who week in and week out are setting the NRL alight.
so what is it, coaching, ability, not as good as we thought?
I know one thing, right now I'd swap them both for a couple of other young guns.

There is t a halfback combination in the game who will dominate if their forward pack is getting rolled .look at the kid we let go to Penrith .thats the difference

Brooks and Moses will be top first graders … Just not at our club and especially not together. If each of them had an experienced old head beside them they would absolutely kill it.

Sadly, together they are just a couple of kids trying hard.

Rankin? Admittedly id rather see Ado Carr there but Rankin has been solid all season so far and doesn't deserve to be dropped.

They both talk the talk, how about letting on field performance do the talking for you.
Tackle players in front of you. Not look for intercept, especially when on your own try line.
Not worth the money they are being paid.
At least show some value for your money.

At the end of each set which wasn't many in the second half I was just instictly saying, ' bet its a bomb!!! ' our halves have no game awareness at all. Really don't wanna see both in the team again this year. Bring on Littlejohn Rankin heck even Drinkwater for all I care. Seasons over, but I did say that after knights debarkle.

I'd sack both Brooks and Moses.
Overhyped, overpaid and pretty much useless…neither is a first graders ring hole. They are just 2 kids who bullied the NYC which is not as impressive an achievement as many think and can't hack real football.

Get Rankin off the wing and into the halves with one of the nsw cup boys.

A solid what? cause he aint a good NRL player. Have you watched any games this year? He had an average game last week thats it, all other weeks he has been very very poor.
