WESTS Tigers fans are entitled to be asking questions of their club management and decisions that were made towards the end of last season.

Who hired renowned non-winner Brian Smith to conduct a review of the football operations?

Who made the decision to allow outstanding five-eighth Blake Austin to leave?

Who made the decision to let flying Fijian Marika Koroibete join Melbourne Storm?

Who sacked Mick Potter who had the Tigers in a much better position this time last year than Jason Taylor does after Round 13?

Why is there so much uncertainty about the joint venture and Leichhardt Oval?

Why has the form of outstanding young halves Luke Brooks and Mitchell Moses gone backwards?

These are all legitimate questions. Members and fans are the shareholders.

If any other business was going as poorly as the Wests Tigers, management would be under the pump.

He's just reading this forum and putting it to print in his own B grade journalistic way. His questions aren't overly clever, but I'm kind of glad that someone has written about this debacle. It's just farcical the way things have transpired since Mayer decided to enlist Smith as his stealth - like reason to remove Potter who until then, had an ordinary team firing.

Agree. Somebody has to wake Wests Tigers management and what better medium to do it than the general sports media. Jason Taylor and Mayer would never think of doing what Rothfield does, and that is reading this forum to understand what rank and file Wests Tigers fans are really thinking.

Well if that is true he didn't do much improving in the 2 weeks off before the Titans game, and that is a huge worry considering the bad press after the Cowboys disaster.

Something like "the minute you start listening to the fans, you'll end up sitting with them."

Buzz is an old fool who will write whatever gets clicks on the website.

I remember he was howling down shutting fans out of games a few years back and then a few weeks later Wests played Souths at a packed out Leichhardt and he was harping on about how the NRL should never get rid of suburban games.

That all being said, he's right in what he's printed. A lot of questions need to be asked. Not just for this year, but every year since 2005\. We never capitalised on that success. We should have been able to draw good players to the club off the back of that success in order to maintain the winning ways and it never eventuated.

A caller said on 2KY this morning that teams like Manly and Canterbury count the years they don't make the finals whereas Tigers fans count the years where they do. Pretty damning indictment.
