Balmain Ryde Homebush these are wests tigers areas
I get you might be anti balmain but if campbletown worked then Magpies woukd never have needed to merge in the first place
We need both areas, if we let concord go dogs move in.
Nobody is moving into campbletown area it is wests tigers anyway, put the academy out there and it holds the juniors, dogs might make a play for Liverpool but campbletown is where the academy should be

*Western Suburbs, in south-west Sydney, with a booming population growth, has experienced an 18 per cent decline. It’s important to note, however, that final 2021 figures are forecast to be boosted by the end of the season.*

Frankly, the growth out west is predominantly immigration growth. You have to ask yourself how many Chinese, Vietnamese, Iraqis, Indians or Filipinos are signing up to play Rugby League in the South-West.
If you read the NSW demographics, you'll find there are very few pacific islanders compared to the above. Certainly not enough to justify relocation.
I don't think we should necessarily correlate real estate growth with rugby league participation.
@weststigerman said in [Calls for relocation hit embattled club](/post/1467902) said:I don't see the big deal. Campbelltown is a 45 minute drive from Concord. As I understand it there will be an academy in Campbelltown.
I'm sure if the CoE was built in Campbelltown there will be people saying we're abandoning Leichardt or schools like Holy Cross College.
Can't keep everyone happy.

Let's tell the full story. Father was Swiss-Filipino. Mother is Samoan. So yeah...25% Filipino.
The NRL isn't exactly brimming with Filipino talent.

Are you trying to say South West Sydney is a rugby league growth area because of the high number of Asians out that way?

Nah, I'm not saying anything.

I've only ever met one huge Filipino, but he was an absolutely massive individual. Runs a tricycle taxi district in Manila.
