Can the Wests Tigers finally make the finals in 2022?

NRL ladder is funny, we are still in it but need to keep the intensity up.

I probably had us 3 and 4 from the first 7, and in touch. Woulda, shoulda, coulda, if the boys want it, it's there.

Just had a look at the draw we have a great run comming up manly are depleted with injury hopefully we start getting a few players back where really in a good spot

We have the easiest run home of all the teams. The best teams we play are the teams we beat (rabbits and eels). We play panthers during Origin and Storm once more.

The answer is we should make it but only if this new mentality remains. If we slack off, we’re gone.

If we get Laurie and Doueihi back before by 10 and our key players stay fit (I.e Hastings) I will hold onto some hope

Making the 8 to me isn't the be all and end all [more likely end all] of a successful season.
The top 4 is.
What's the point of playing one extra game, only to delay mad monday by a week.
If we are to win a comp we have to have a side capable of finishing in the top 4.
Even at full strength we fall short.
But at full strength and throw in Api and Papa it becomes a different story.
We then lose Lucy and Kelma so we are back to square one.
Must recruit more quality players. The well is drying up.
If we fail to recruit more big time players, our hope then is to shore up our remaining talent and pray they develop into quality footballers.

A lot of fans on here and other sites have stated that season 2022 is a fill in season until we get all our injured players back and new recruits arrive for a proper tilt in 2023.
I said before the season began that for season 2023 to be a success, we have to build as this one goes on, attracting more players to help with our charge next year.

This is not a fill in season. We must be competitive towards the backend and take momentum into next year. The way we are playing at the moment is what I hoped for, having tipped us to make the 8. I think this squad can play finals this year and I think when that happens, we will attract more talent in the off season for next year.

If we can beat top 4 sides now, we can only get stronger as we get more cattle back.

I agree. Top 8 might make media back off but let's face it the top 4 is the only place to be to actually win the comp.

Play well and improve and see how we go next year.

All them teams at the top winning when they should certainly helps...
Looks like a another big year with a canyon between the top and the bottom.
We're on the up, A strike addition to the outside backs and I'd give us a real shot.

I love it if we go the rest of the season undefeated 😂
Manly started off like us last year & still finished in the top 4
Never write off the tiges

This post sound familiar 🤣

Zero chance of top eight….but we are finally laying some foundations for the next few years. Some smart recruitment and this team will be a hard nut to crack
