The only time I've seen these two sides clash was a very spiteful encounter in Canberra but I really hope that our young fellas get out of the blocks early AND blow this team away, I know they can grind out a win but let's hope that flair and talent wins the day, by the Tigers of course.

Wasn't that the game one of our players got sin binned for tackling their winger by the hair? Also didn't Koro get suspended (he was at least put on report) for a head slam on one of their players? Might be getting these two incidents mixed up & they weren't in the same game. Should be the same team named as last week unless Brown is out injured, didn't look good with him limping off & unable to put any weight on his ankle, He will be a big loss. Very talented Raider's side & for mine, Milford is their gun player.

I was at that Canberra game in the pouring rain. It was very physical and dirty game I thought. There seems to be a lot of bad blood between these two sides for some reason. Raiders have a top side. Should be a great game.

He was spectacular when given his chance last week. Hope he's ok to get a run on Sunday. If not, it'd be good to see Manaia get another chance in the squad or on a restructured bench.

Should be a top game. The Tigers blew the Raiders away at Campbelltown early in the season and were just too quick for them. Knocked them off again in wet conditions in Canberra in a spiteful encounter. Hopefully they notch up the hattrick on Sunday. The Tigers have enough skill and speed in the backs to cause some real problems, just as long as the forwards step up and control the ruck. Canberra boast a pretty big side so the Tigers will need to show some real line speed in defence to put the Raiders off their game.

Great chance for the boys to show what they're capable of if they put 80 minutes together.

This will be a cracking game after our game against them at Canberra stadium was high on emotion , expect no different. Good luck boys and make us proud.

Exciting young full-back Kurtis Rowe lives and breathes Wests Tigers.
It is hard not to when he spends almost 7 days a week wearing two different club hats.
On weekends, Rowe is the dashing young full-back with an excellent attacking game who will line up in the number one jersey in Sunday’s Grand Final against Canberra Raiders at ANZ Stadium.
Weekdays sees the quietly spoken Rowe work as a merchandise assistant at the Wests Tigers Gearzone store at Concord Oval.
“It has been a good balance for me. It is good to meet and serve the customers and to share their passion for Wests Tigers,’’ Rowe said.
“They like talking about the team and how we are going.
“John Lynch (Merchandise Manager) and Wade Healey (Merchandise Assistant) have taught me so much about retail and the importance of good customer service and how to speak to people.
“I’m very fortunate. Some of my team-mates do heavy labour work during the day and then have to drive to training. I’m working in air conditioning and only have to walk downstairs for training.
“All of the staff have made me welcome and not only support me but all of the team.”
As for the Grand Final, Rowe is sticking to the same routine that has served him well throughout the season.
He admits to ‘sweating bullets’ in the final few minutes in the preliminary final win over the Sydney Roosters last Saturday after allowing the opposition to get within a converted try.
“It was very nerve racking. All we had to do was run the clock down. When the siren went, it was great feeling.
We have worked so hard to make the grand final. You dream about playing in a rugby league grand final as a little kid,’’ Rowe said.
“Canberra will be very tough. We may have beaten them twice in the rounds but they a quality side and we can’t take them lightly.
“It all comes down to this last game. I just want to enjoy the week and the game. I’m very excited. I’m living the dream.”

Wests Tigers Half-back Jacob Miller says the experience of Coach Todd Payten has proven invaluable in the countdown to Sunday’s Grand Final.
In what is shaping up to be a thrilling season decider, the third placed Canberra Raiders tackle the fourth placed Wests Tigers at ANZ Stadium at 2pm. Wests Tigers have beaten Canberra on both occasions this season.
Miller says his team-mates have enjoyed playing under the 2005 Wests Tigers premiership winning prop.
“To get to a Grand Final in your first year of coaching in the NYC is a remarkable achievement that Todd can be very proud of,’’ Miller said.
“He is highly respected by all of the boys. The experience he brings to the side is invaluable, particularly as we prepare for the Grand Final.
“We would love to finish the season off with a premiership victory not only for us but for Toddy. He knows what is required to win a Grand Final.
“Todd has been passing down his experience on how to prepare for the game. It certainly has been useful.”
Miller and winger Marika Koroibete are the only two players in the Wests Tigers side to have NRL experience.
The talented Miller has captained the side well throughout the season while the flying Koroibete goes into the match on the back of a hat-trick of tries last weekend.
“It should be a great game. Canberra are the benchmark of the competition. They are the best attacking side and we are one of the best defensive sides,’’ Miller said.
“Our forwards have been leading the way all season but for us to win on Sunday, everyone has to step up again and play to their potential.”
