Canberra v Saints (Spoilers)

Saints really blew it… Crossed the line twice and dropped the ball

And not to mention that the bombed a perfect field goal opportunity with a silly pass to Mann. But keep in mind they were without Tyson Frizell and had barely anyone left on their bench. If Sezer doesn't take that intercept, they win.

I was impressed by Sims, De Belin, Vaughan, Widdop, Mann and MacDonald

I was also impressed with Saints. I wish we had a pack with those forwards. De Bellin & Vaughan are great middle forwards. I'd lock both of them in for SOO.

Joel Thompson is a highly underrated forward who should have been considered for SOO long ago. He is just in his opponent's face from the start.

How'd you rate Wighton's game?

He made a Tedesco error early on in spilling that ball in the in goal. He did some work in slippery conditions throughout the game. I'd find room for both Wighton and Cotric in our backline. Add Joel Thompson, Vaughn and De Belin as well.

I was thinking the same thing watching that game. He isn't big or explosive but he tackles hard and competes. I'm not sure if I'd pick him in SOO but he should be considered.

Hell we may as well just swap teams altogether!

Wighton is a strange one. He is capable of appalling stuffups that should see his contract torn up yet can also win you a game on occasion. Benji was the king of this with Johnson not far behind but this bloke is also up there.

Johnson and Benji produce far more points than this bloke does, the only similarities between them are in the sheer volume of errors and brain explosions. I wouldn't want him at fullback, maybe at centre where he doesn't have to field kicks. He's not without talent he's just limited in his talents and not consistent enough to want as your fullback. He also just has a dopey look in his eyes that makes me think you don't want him in your 1, 6, 7 or 9\. I imagine you have a similar look in your eyes stryker.

the intercept was a massive turning point…along with the 40/20 during GP...good to see a try win the game....I had a multi riding on that and the pass from Taylor, im baffled how he did it and whitehead gathered it in...amazing

Sezer nearly dropped that intercept. It had the smell of a Saints win that game. I'm glad they lost, it's good to see them to continue to fall away. Penrith will take their place in the 8.

The turning point was when the referee failed to send off Papali for what looked like a leading elbow/shoulder charge. Dugan out of the game and no consequences for Papali in the game.

LOL….was one of the softest shoulder charges Ive seen...though Papali being papali Id hate to see him go full at it...Im sure he could done a lot more damage
