Canberra v Saints (Spoilers)

LOL….was one of the softest shoulder charges Ive seen...though Papali being papali Id hate to see him go full at it...Im sure he could done a lot more damage

For Dugan to fail the assessment suggests significant contact to the head was made.

Dugan is soft and made of glass…I wonder when the last send off for a shoulder charge was?

I've never considered Dugan to be soft and for that matter any player in the NRL. Besides the assessment is a medical assessment so unless he is faking it and not wanting to play, how fair is your comment?

Very fair…hes known for lying down and opting out when things get tough...opposition players have sledged him for it, its been documented in the media

When was the last send off for a shoulder charge?

Being soft is irrelevant, he failed the medical assessment! The elbow was cocked with the use of the shoulder. Did Papali ever intend to make a legitimate tackle? I can't remember the last time a player was sent off but how many parents view that tackle and refuse to let their sons or daughters play rl as a consequence?

It was a bad hit I thought. If they had an option for 10 in the bin for those sorts of things it would be good. Like it or not it's an illegal technique now and using it blatantly like that with the consequence that you deny the opposition one of their players should have consequences _in the game_ not just afterwards.

Wighton is a strange one. He is capable of appalling stuffups that should see his contract torn up yet can also win you a game on occasion. Benji was the king of this with Johnson not far behind but this bloke is also up there.

Johnson and Benji produce far more points than this bloke does, the only similarities between them are in the sheer volume of errors and brain explosions. I wouldn't want him at fullback, maybe at centre where he doesn't have to field kicks. He's not without talent he's just limited in his talents and not consistent enough to want as your fullback. He also just has a dopey look in his eyes that makes me think you don't want him in your 1, 6, 7 or 9\. I imagine you have a similar look in your eyes stryker.

They are the similarities im highlighting you mong. I imagine you to be crosseyed lol…

It was shoulder to shoulder initially and slid up to the head.
Parents look at NRL and think u/6s is like that…. They're morons.
You get binned now for slapping a bloke in the chops but not for something like this now foul play which leaves a team a man down... NRL on top of things as per usual

Not enough - should be 4 weeks.
Grade 2, please, it was a shoulder charge, end of story.
A shoulder charge is illegal, no arms being wrapped around. What have you got to do to get a grade one - kill somebody!
That is the trouble - it is a joke.
