Cannel 9 News report WT fans turning on each other

I don't get where you are coming from goldcoast tiger.

I was at the ground on Saturday. I booed the players that are leaving and have dogged us. There was no anger or issues that I saw at the ground. Tigers supporters were still supporting the club.

There are a couple of fans like yourself that want this to be about the board and club management. It's sort of a smear campaign because you aren't coming up with specific things they've done wrong and it sounds a lot like the complaints of the departing traitors which is basically meaningless trivial petulant little details that don't add up.

I'm now glad that this has happened. Losing the traitorous number 1 is going to be a loss but the other two are inconsistent players with terrible attitudes. Even the no 1 has a petulant spoilt entitled attitude and he cannot be trusted.

The complaints towards the club aren't clear to me and I think that the club has handled a bunch of stuff that the traitors have complained about as well as they possibly could. Taylor should have been sacked. Cleary seems to be a great choice for the coaching role. We shouldn't have employed Wehbe and his masseuse.

We are turning into the bulldogs.

Looks like i wont be coming down from Qld later in the year with my daughter so she can enjoy the Leichhardt experience.

Sad for me and sad for her.

The people doing this can't see what they are causing, your comment about turning into the Dogs is spot on

I get that people's hearts are in this. But when ending a relationship we have two choices:
1\. Break up as politely as possible, agree to be friends but keep a distance.
2\. Throw underwear on the lawn, burning CD's/DVD series/WT merch until the cops come. Meanwhile yelling loudly every possible every sexual encounter you have and all the intimate details of your privates.

Yep Nr2 is a classy look. Act like that, well your Ex is not going near you as well as Everyone and anyone who witnesses this display. So how should we act with Teddy, Woods and Moses?

Were sad they are going, they are all good football players. If they don't do too much stupid stuff, keep playing with us and we will see a good year out. Alternatively we can cat call from the sidelines and do the BS channel 9 was featuring. We see families not turn up, fans turn around and people regard us as grubs like the dogs. What choice will be make?

I think the majority of critics who boo wouldn't support taking their actions further, and therefore your analogy in number 2 is a bit extreme.

The people willing to go to those lengths become an issue for police or security.

Some people need to get some perspective here. Booing a player or producing a banner that reflects the way these traitors have behaved is good. It shows passion and character.

Taking it further isn't the right thing to do but there aren't hordes of fans trying to run on the field and belt these guys.

So much drama over such little things.

It is not a little thing when objects are thrown, that crosses a boundary that should feel the full force of the Club, the NRL and the law. It should never be tolerated. Boo, yell, scream and hold up banners all you like but never transgress into physical violence.

It will get worse before it gets better

But we kind of needed this to unite us

Next years going to be awesome

Unite us …....,you've got to be kidding !!!!!

Yeah you're right.

There's everyone, then there's you and Happy.

You've been a total miser about the club since Farah got the arse. It'll be hilarious if we manage to get to the finals this year and you're still trying to tell everyone how the club is still rooted.

I can completely understand that some are emotional because of particular players leaving, however, the boys club had to come to an end,it is why this club has not progressed towards the finals since 05..Admin of this club over the years have tried to appease so many that were thought of as the future and the club that they had a stranglehold on it..CEO Pascoe as well as the others in Admin are doing their best to stabilise this club and make it a very well run organization,Cleary being the best recruitment as coach is getting this team to perform to an NRL standard as such some players have been found out re their potential(Moses comes to mind) he was terrible on Saturday and should really have a good look at himself regarding the money he is asking for..I don't care much who leaves or who comes as long as the club is heading in a forward direction in regard to culture, winning and giving 100 percent effort in making this club an outstanding place for people to want to come to,that is players, spectators, fans and members…
Not everyone will agree on everything, but I honestly think if the spectators at a game are the clubs fans or the opposition,I loathe the low act of throwing projectiles deliberately at these players...I have been to many, many Wests Tigers games and have been proud to support the team during winning or losing,I have been angry many time and have hurled abuse at opposition players, opposition fans, refs and my own team, but never projectiles and haven't seen it yet at any Tigers games I have been at...if these idiots are identified then they must be dealt with in a manner that is according to the incident...
I will always be a proud, passionate supporter and member of the WTs,not being like the Bulldogs supporters has been a reason I love the WTs players and fans...lets not go down the path of the Dogs fanbase..An example of their fans is when I went to a Dogs Tigers game at the SFS a few years ago,a group of 4/5 dogs supporters were at the gate leaving and a young Tigers supporter about 14 yrs of age walked past and these dogs supporters spat on him, very low people, let not our fanbase be in the same class or that would be it for me...

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but it seems like 90% of people disagree with you.

In the past, the forum has been split by love/hate for Sheens, Farah, or Taylor. I think most people are on board with the way we're heading since it became evident Woods and Tedesco were leaving.

I just want to know what is so wrong with Wests Tigers management? I'm not joking.

Happy was venting endlessly about Wests Tigers when it became clear that Tedesco was leaving but no specifics.

We have record memberships, increased community involvement, increased sponsorships, JV sorted with no NRL involvement or funding anymore and we have a Wests Ashfield majority board.

We now have a well respected coach who has improved this current roster within a month. We are looking competitive again compared to the first month of this season.

I read comments about our CEO Pascoe about how he isn't performing. Why? He seems to be quite competent with things going on. I hear how Marina Go is doing a poor job but all I ever read is it's because she's not a leaguie so can't run anything to do with rugby league. What utter BS.

All this noise about why the "big 3" want to leave - so what.
What about Nofo staying and proud to do so. What about all the others who have recommited? They all WANT to be here.

Can someone, anyone give me substantial, concrete evidence of why we are a "basket case"?

Our club has not had drug cheating issues with ASADA
No front page sex scandals the like of Coffs Harbour
No salary cap mismanagement involving docking of points.
No drunken player episodes involving lewd dog acts that required players taking overseas rehab.

Even this television interview with our captain who wants out didn't explain to me why we are such a poorly managed club. So many contradictions from him. We are a club always in the news - wow. For what? Trying to sort things out? Making change in any business is difficult but a sport involving huge egos? That's always a media story. That's why we are on the back page - not because we have to send a key player away in the dead of night, not because we lost all of our competition points, not because we have affidavids from lawyers representing wimen who were molested.

Why is my club so God damned awful?
Simple answer - it's not.

Happily sent a tweet to Ava (my first to a player) letting him know that I was saddened to see him go, but wished him good luck. Not surprisingly, he took the time and bothered to reply.

Contrast his actions and contract dealings, which are just as important to the individual, to that of our captain and there is simply no comparison, with the latter one carrying on like a self centred twat. There are many reasons why so many fans have lost most, if not all respect for Woods and only more so following his latest serving of crap yesterday.

GCT, isn't it about time to let go of that Farah bone that has had you gnawing at management and particularly Go for so long now. To give an example of just how much the actions of Woods have annoyed many of us, I won't be cheering him on from the stands, which is something that I still did with Robbie, despite counting the seconds until he was gone.

Earl you not only speak with passion but common sense. If people want to boo, and do not do anything silly, that's there right and simply shows them as passionate people. To others trying to stop them, well I am glad we live here and not North Korea.
Go the tigers, get on the bus!

And for what its worth, I think the current board, the current management, and the coach, are handling the situation well. I do not care to worry about the previous boards or coaches as we are looking forward to the new bus ride.

I do not agree with everything they are doing, including some of the press releases, but they are dealing with a difficult situation, involving spoilt brats that didn't like professionalism being installed, and have gone home with their bat and ball. Good luck to them. They have missed the bus.

There was a fairly headed argument under the grandstand that threatened to come to blows (however did not from what i saw) at the end of the game.

Few Guys had a Woods doll with a Canterbury Jersey on and were cat calling the 3 players most of the game. A few guys sitting down in the concourse took expiation to it I believe towards the end of the game and spun around.

However I have no idea if this is the incident they were referring to.

My mate had a Woods blow up doll with a dogs Jersey with the $ sign LOL cracked me up haha

Saw those lads in the Red Lion before the game - couple of big metal looking blokes, right? I thought it was funny. One of them was in Sharks gear, mind…

Good post, so far they've both kept putting in for the team. ( except for Moses)
So unless these Blockheads ease off with the rubbish , the consequences that you've pointed out will keep getting bigger . The problem is though that this group is loving being able to get into gang mentality and hide befind their mates and continue to try and divide the supporters and club

I'm thinking of adding a sig to my posts, as follows:

(except for Moses)

Despite not being a Farah supporter, i never felt uncomfortable supporting him while he was wearing our jersey, because despite his flaws, he did want to be here. These guys don't. I don't want to see these guys wear our jersey again, including Tedesco. I don't care if it results in us not winning another game and collecting the spoon.
