Think our chances of winning will help if Doueihi slots seamlessly back into 7, he played well there in the trial but this is for 2pts.
What we don't want is for the old hog style to come back into his game hopefully he's learnt from that guess we will find out on Monday.
...Your kidding, right?

We lost vs Parramatta with AD at 7.

Doueihi must stay at Center and bed down a permanent spot. If he doesn't want to be center, he can go play for the Bears for all I care.

I really don't get what it is. Jamie Lyon was a great center who could be a playmaker as well. SKD and plenty of others come to mind... Mazri and Pat Richards did it from the wing. Put AD in at center and we get a nice kicking option to partner with our halves. Center is his spot and our only spot for him.

Lock it in.

Mate what are you going on about, did you check the date open your eyes, that was for the Parra game and we all know now that he's no good there.

Galvan was dropped we had to play him there that game.

My favourite Richo moment this year is when IM tried to go into his reasons for Galvo wanting out and as soon as he started on Benji, Richo told him to shut up and ge didnt want to hear it.

I dont think Benji is neccesarily the best coach for us, but Richos response was perfect.

The eels are the last chance for Galvo, everyone else has eased our, so it wouldnt surprise me if they low ball him.

If im the eels, as his only option, id be taking as many lends as i could.

So IM has managed it pretty badly.

Well played Richo.

Imagine 12 months ago if someone told you the tigers would have Luai, May, Turuva, Hunt, Bird, Fafita and the other May all playing for the tigers before 30th June and a chance of playing semi finals.

Its a genuine possibility, and even without Fafita, man we have come a long way.

9 weeks in and our win total matches Melbourne, Brisbane and Cronulla. Long way to go but a few apologies to Benji might be in order. Bulldog Ritchie started them off tonight on N360.

Whats Bulas current deal,,,,because Benji mentioned theyd signed him to a long term deal during the Saints presser....sounded like hes talking recently rather than back when his original deal was signed

Hes probably one Richos refrring too....lets hope
Might not be the time to try to negotiate with his manager right now. I imagine there’s not much talkies.

The other thing that keep striking me...

Galvo is a 5/8.

When you think top 5/8's in the game...
Greg Ingles
Benji Marshall (for very different reasons).
James Maloney
Luai
Munster...
Lockyer..

We have 3 of the NRL's Top 5/8's here at our club. You can say whatever else about the coaching... 5/8 is so covered. You can argue Cameron Ciraldo or Jason Ryles will train harder, but they will not be making a better 5/8 then Benji can.

Yes.

Sage post, i duff my tattered fedora.

And moving into logic mode, Galvin and Satan cant really compare Benji to other coaches, because Galvo wasnt being coached by other coaches.

So he cant really compare or contrast Benji to others during this period of his own player development.

He wouldnt know and indeed no one can know whether or not Ryles or Bellamy would have made him a better half at this point in his career because it hasnt been done.

Its possible a spell with them could have resulted in him being worse than he is now. They dont know.

I agree with you that his mentors and influences at WT are right up there with experience and success.

Greg Inglis?! We can thank his deep and enduring friendship with Richo for that gift. He changed the game.

And whatever struggles hes had coaching, Benji was a dominant footballer for much of his career.
I will defend him on that point, whatever other misgivings I harbour towards him as a coach.

"The players weve signed or otherwise"

Wtf this mean?
That sounds like 'we've signed them under conditions'. To me that sounds like they've signed Taylan May to a train on deal for this season (or similar) with a top 30 spot for next season. Similar to Ferguson at the Roosters back in the day when he was training with the Roosters squad for the remainder of the season and then was cleared to play the next season.

I hate to speculate or comment on this type of stuff, but its been documented that Taylan checked in a facility about a month back to deal with his Mental Health. He only just returned to social media this week which would suggest he's completed part of that. It would make sense that it was a condition of him returning to the NRL, or even for him to get an opportunity at the club. It would ring true with Benji and Richos motto of family first and making sure that Taylan himself is in the right headspace. Next step would to be getting him into training with the team for an extended amount of time before exposing him to the NRL.

This is of course speculation, but if true its 100% the right approach, taking care of the human being first and Rugby League second.
