The longer this saga goes on, the more likely it will become clear that V'Landys is nothing more than an opportunist whose leadership style of "have a win at any cost" is decidely dangerous in times such as these.

He is the Donald Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon of Australian sports leaders; a man of limited intellience, a huge ego and self-belief who is emboldened by success, as measured by his own metrics.

Well he's kept racing going.

On his own he hasn't. It's not just NSW that is continuing to race at the moment. What about the other leaders in other states?

But, in NSW the feature races on tomorrow have all had to take up to a 50% cut in prizemoney, under V'Landys' leadership. So when he (allegedly) says he will come to an agreement with Nine, I suspect it will be in Nine's benefit, not the NRL's.

In fact, I think Hugh Marks knows V'Landys is a goose who will settle for some sort of "victory" that will stroke his ego and self-belief. The reality, though, will be completely different.

As you may have guessed, I don't rate him at all as a leader. In fact, I think Greenburg has better leadership qualities than V'Landys.

Mate, your last sentence is a HUUUUUGE statement. Greenberg has been decimating and making NRL a laughing stock for years, doesn't learn from his mistakes because he is too arrogant to believe he doesn't know best. He is singlehandedly the worst thing to happen to the NRL since it's inception.
If he was still making the decisions the game probably would of folded in the space of a few weeks.

Iam one of nines biggest critic, I think they do a very average job when it comes to sport especially NRL. Because they Have had a monopoly on the free to air NRL stuff for years they have completely ignored the fans.

Anyway in saying the above, I do think Nine as a broadcasting partner and a major revenue source should have been consulted in Wayne Pearce committee, and slamming the NRL for years of mis management and out of control spending, was only highlighting what we have been saying for years.

In a few years time we will be thanking CV19 for saving our game from self destruction

Oh ok. I'm happy to be convinced otherwise. List all the errors and instances of mismanagement that can be directly attributed to him please.

Same mate. And then it's a scramble to get the channel hooked up and working, because I haven't used it since last GF or Origin.

I’ve done this on here, many times, mate... ask around, but seriously - only his family could believe that he’s in any way ‘competent’.
