Completely agree with this.I am in my 70's and was a very staunch Balmain Tiger but both they and the Magpies are clubs of the past and although i have fond memories of both neither is our future and nor should they be.
WT is MY club.

The other three barely have a brain cell between them…and are all old men… I don’t see anybody supporting what they say .. the opposite actually

I agree that Wests Tigers are the future, but that doesn't mean that Magpie people and their lower grade teams should cease to exist.
I'm as Wests Tigers as anyone on here.
However the joint venture agreement gave both clubs that right. It's a shame that Balmain no longer has the capacity to fund teams (I really mean that) but I don't understand why people begrudge those that enjoy watching the Magpies play having that.

A complaint that if it were a protest in racing would've ended with a six month suspension for the protesting jockey for it's frivolous nature.

I couldn’t care less how the owners run their own business… my only concern is with the running of the football club which is thankfully now independent

The junior teams should be Tigers and Magpies but i don't agree with any grade above S.G.Ball being anything but WT.However when people my age drop off the perch it won't be an issue because it is only older people that have emotional ties to their old foundation club and we as WT should not be held back.
Just my thoughts no offence meant.

Freddy referenced it because his 1st game was coming on as a replacement against Wests at Campbelltown - I was there (he set up a try with his first touch from memory).

Wests Tigers have only been around since 2000
and stuff did happen before then 👍

Freddy absolutely cut us to pieces that night.
I've never seen a bloke playing his 1st game put on a show that he did.
