Yeah and what would that resume consist of.
Young coach, senior coach?
Experience in lower grades, NRLW, England, NRL assistant or former NRL head coach?
Ties to the club or completely removed?
Name your preferred candidates!
As of now? Brad Arthur.

I wouldn’t banish him from the club. I’d offer him a different role. Whether his ego would take a new role is another question. Have no doubt he’d have a cushy media gig waiting for him somewhere.
His ego won’t allow it. He’ll go straight to the media with how he was treated unfairly.

Same reason why he was guaranteed the head coaching role if he joined as an assistant.

He has said that the media job although enjoyable wasn’t exactly where his heart was at.

He is contracted until the end of 2027 I believe, so no way is the club going to pay out another coach plus employ a new coach. I'd imagine his support staff will be reviewed with additional or replacement support staff provided first. And maybe a mutual agreement is reached between Benji & Richo that if XXX isn't achieved in 2026, he steps down himself with an agreed settlement at that point.
I thought it was end of next year but I could be wrong.

It’s ironic, HBG seem fine to sack and pay out coaches, but don’t put much money into the club to help the coaches succeed.

If he gets sacked off the back of two spoons, he won’t have much room to cry foul. He would have gone down as the worst coach in our history which is no mean feat.

I don't think so...

Benji is a guy that always wants to improve.. he's coming from a low base when it comes to coaching.. and because Richo is giving him every chance to succeed I can see him drawing on it as a learning experience if it doesn't work out...

I can't believe no one remembers that it was Da silva and Tartak that said they would not stay if we extended Api. We chose to extend Api. Next thing he is gone. Is that not agitating for a release? Somewhat i think.
Wasn’t what was said that he would not re-sign or extend contract and it was not about leaving mid contract
