Change of structure

Very interesting the number of changes to our structure against the Raiders.
1\. Centres switching sides
2\. Halves playing a wipers formation on both sides of the field similar to DCE and Foran
3\. we regularly went with a sliding defense which we have never done previously.

Wonder if it was always planned to introduce the new style at this point in the season, or a reaction to us losing our way

It gave me a lot of encouragement in regards to Potter's technical coaching ability. I have been thrilled with our change of culture, and 80 minute efforts that he has bought to the club. I was starting to worry he was a bit wooden and timid in regards to selections, big decisions or mixing things up that are not working.

It was the perfect game to try some different things Goose

That was until Tedesco got hurt

They had a chance to work on some things at near full strength and the bye previously gave them time

It also puts some second thoughts in many clubs minds about our future structures coming up to a crucial part of our season

Potter deserves some pats on the back , he is playing with a club balanced on a knife's edge with everything going on and many times he is coming up a winner
