Anyway we need to get rid of someone before we can sign anyone.

Fantastic if he is sticking with us! First choice winger and at least we will have a genuine backup fb option. Assume this means we have moved someone on and should find out in the coming days.

Ignoring Zorba's negative comments as we could sign a quality player on minimum wage and he would pick us to pieces over it.

He said Benji is trying to be a jack of all trades but will be a master of none. I usually tune out to the regular media bashings we get but this really boiled my blood

Yeah I agree. The venom that was in his voice made it such a personal attack on Benji. All of us on this forum know our club has made terrible decisions. We debate it a fair bit. Most of us would even agree with some of the media articles but this felt so personal. Felt like a bully picking on a weaker, smaller kid.

In a way I agree with what he is saying about Benji.....I saw the week 2 training pics, and there was Benji playing ( is he is training too !) Is he just a frustrated ex footy star who still wants to play footy ? or is he the coach...Coach Benji, stop playing and coach I suppose that's what you are paid to do.
I too have my reservations about how Benji will go as a coach, he reminds me of Kevin Rudd, Kevin just wanted to get in and do everything himself, and that didn't turn out so well did it ?
