Spoke with him on Saturday night. One of the reasons was Price doesnt like his haircut!!! Believe it or not but thats what he said. He is desperate for one of two things to happen. Another club to pick him up or Price to get sacked.

The signing of a true prop forward is very much long overdue. Wests Tigers need to get cracking on this immediately. They should have acted months ago when the likely scenario resulting in our current serious problem was staring them in the face. The longer they take the deeper we get into trouble.

Tele reports we are already in talks with Shane Shackleton. And havnt ruled out Cashmere. I would rather Shackleton. The guy Buchanan could drag with him is Jack De Belin. He is out of favour with Steve Price and is good mates with Buchanan.

Isn't Shackleton a 2nd rower?…BMM is bigger than Shack!...

Cashman would be good stop gap for 2013....better than nothing...but how fit is he?

No clubs going to release a front rower from their present contract unless they have a major cap problem or discipline issues.Clubs know you cant have enough off them as their attrition rate is very high due to the nature of their job.

Shackleton would be the one I would be looking at and I would not go near the Cashman, his best days are well and truly a thing of the past

Pettybourne, Thompson, Gavet, Buchannan etc are at least as good as Symonds, Horo and the other so called cheapies

The recruitment team knowing we needed depth in the prop dept picked up one of the better young props to go with 2 young good uns we already had, and arguably the best tier 2 prop going around in Gavet,

Agreed Goose, I think we did rather well in the off-season to sign the props that we did.
I wouldn't mind looking into De Belin if he's not making the 17\. And any other guys that are stuck behind good props. Wouldn't worry about Cashmere and not too fussed about Shackleton either.
