CHEAP FORWARDS!!!!!

The recruitment we made during the off season was way better than in the past and not in your wildest dreams would you have expected to be four front rowers down after two rounds.

What we have to do now is make some smart decisions, do we have enough talent within our ranks to cover the front row requirements for the next three to four months????And is our talent better than what we can buy from outside?????

I think we will really really struggle against the better packs now we have lost Keff and to think Woods is a real chance of SOO, we have some big issues. My view is we have to source a seasoned front rower asap

I would like to see them sign a young prop by the name of Kane Evans from the Roosters he has alot of potential from what I have heard, I cannot see him getting a go at the Roosters for a long time (alot of guys before him) he is also a Leichardt Wanders boy his a up and coming player of the future at a bargain price rather than some fringe front row forward who has past his used by date.

I think they (the Cocks,) just resigned him last season TL.

Mate the chooks rate this kid as the hottest young talent in their stable, he will not be going anywhere and if by some million to one chance he got a release he would be able to command similar money as the young Bulldogs front rower, that was over a million over three years,

If we have signed a new frontrower my guess its either Shack or gorgeous George Rose

I have it on good authority that the club will be signing a well known front rower in the next few days. Stay tuned!

Hopefully this well know front rower will be a good performer.

Are we allowed to deregister galloway while he's injured so he doesn't chew up our salary cap…? Probably not, since there'd be complications when he came back.

No not a chance for deregistering

As for props -had a look in nsw cup and George rose, Michael Henderson , jarrod hickey, tau,ima tautai and of course the shack seem the most likely , while in Qld Cup Joel Clinton and petero civonoceva would be awesome but I don't see it

My preference is Big George Rose

Hey can any of the mods tell me where my post suggesting Kane Evans from earlier in the week went? No dramas or anything (Tigerlily looks to have had the same thoughts anyway) but just wondering were it's gone. Posts have been disappearing regularly using Roarfeed?

On topic though a few other good pick-ups for a prop bench role (no idea about availability) could be a guy like Learoyd-Lars, Matulino, Lillyman, Dodds, Ashton Sims or Crabtree from England.

Just a complete nut bag who wants to rip in and make some metres. Kite would be good but probably too expensive and looking for a retirement package.

I'm hoping Potter just bit the bullet and threw some coin at Manly to get Kite over.

That would be a great result but unlikely with the fact he is their best forward at the moment

I would love to see Shannon Boyd from the Raiders 6ft 4 and 123kg. This is what we need and he is playing reggies so he gets a first grade spot straight up and he can bend the line.

George Rose would be good also to add some size as Fulton,Anasta and Blair don't break the line and work hard in defence but don't hurt the runners

Go tigers

George Rose reminds me a little of Arthur Beetson when he played for Balmain. If he is half as good Wests Tigers fans will be more than happy if he plays for WT.

Boyd was my pick of the props from NYC crop in 2012 . He will get his chance at the Raiders this season ,especially after their start to the season They have made us look like the Storm

raiders have some big props as well
dane tilse, shillo, TLL.. all rep iirc?

dont see a point in going for future superstar props atm… someone well established (or ex-rep) who can get the job done.. 100m in 12 runs for 30 minutes a game.. tight ruck defense and aggressive.
