Check out these stats

I would love to see an added stat of metres gained from contact, not including the run up. Most forwards make 5-8 metres before hitting the line, so they're only really making 3-4 metres a hit up.

I reckon this is why the Bulldogs were so good last year, their forwards would pass the ball just before the line and were gaining a few extra yards. Maybe with our smaller more mobile pack Potter should be looking at taking a leaf out of Haslers book in this way. However, there's a fine line between going for an extra few metres or making a mistake passing, catching and securing the ball under pressure at the line.

He will be key to staking our claim on the premiership this year. He and BMM playing wide terrorising the fringes is an exciting prospect.

He would certainly be helpful as a prop bashing it up the guts in the last 10-15 of each half too.

Pettybourne should be in the starting line up and Anasta on the bench. We need to show dominance early to get the upper hand. Anasta won't, Pettybourne will. Am also keen to see Ava get some good minutes.

I remember watching him play against us last year and was happy with the pick up we had made!
He puts his all into everything he does on the field, and it pays off with this stats.

I look forward to him getting more of a chance from Potter, I believe it will definitely pay off.

those stats are encouraging…. but even pettybourne admitted in a post match interview he has allot of work to do in defense.... hence why he only got 21mins.

Attack is one thing, but without defense you will never attack.
