I remember this game. What a tragic end to it.

looking at those 2 sides, it really does bring back those memories of the era when some talented players always kept your hopes up but never delivered. Guys like Brooker, Dynevor, Howard and Fritz for wests and Webber, Sinclair, and Field for balmain never delivered the goods.

I have to say that Wade Rothery remains one of those players that i cant believe didnt make it. Maybe he suffered defensively, but i remember him being one of the most elusive wingers ive seen. A huge step and didnt lose pace when he used it. He must have fallen out with the coach because he was definately a guy worth persisting with.

Was wondering when you would surface….

Sinclair @ 5/8th.......always thought he was a much better centre.....to Quote K.S........shame talent wasted..........

Ive been floating around mate. Have to disagree though, i think Sinclair should have been a 5/8 his whole career.

Watching that game bought back many good memories of being on the hill there that day. What a shame they made such a good start to that season and it all fell away so badly.
