Bench Tamou and Ofahengaue, start Seyfarth and Stefano, bring Tuki Simpkins in for Amone, Simpkin on the bench to give Liddle a rest, bring in Tuilagi and drop Talau either for Doueihi or someone else.
Also make Doueihi captain, he's the only bloke who cares and talks a lot on the field. Brooks is too quiet and Tamou is playing less and less minutes
I really don't want to bag Brooks too much because he cops it bad. However, it really sucks he isn't leadership/captain material. Ennis brought up a good point in that Tamau is our captain and sitting on the bench for at least half the game, which hurts when we are against the ropes. Brooks and Liddle are both out there for 80 but aren't captain material. We need our captain out there for the whole game atm, but there's no logical choice other than Douehi, but he's still a couple of years off being that true leader. We need a strong leadership group which we don't have and thats a huge disadvantage in today's game.
I can't place much blame at the feet of Brooks for last night.
I'm not blaming Brooks for last night at all. Im more speaking about captainsy and leadership. I wish Brooks had the ability to lead this team around and pull us out of the holes we get ourselves into.
Tell me why this Brooks and leadership crap appears.
C Smith at Storm was a hooker, captain and leader. Now Munster who is 5/8. plus their spine with Billy and now Paps'. Manly has DCE ,plus Turbo, plus Jake T. Panthers have Cleary, LUI, Edwards and a cast of thousands, Easts have Teddy who is a FULLBACK, Souths leader is a 5/8, and has LM. Reynolds and another cast of thousands .
Brooks has Mbye, Laurie, and Liddle as his spine and backs with the speed of a snail.
THE POINT BEING THE HALF IS SELDOM THE LEADER.
