Ryan does try hard and loves the club , but he might be a disturbance for the other guys with joking and stuff.

What a retarded thing to say….you want to sack the bloke because he has a personality?

Agreed. Even if we have plenty of depth on the wing , i think it would be such a bad idea shipping off ryan, if anything players would feel down that he's gone, being the only one who brings real enthusiasm to the club..

**"There are some things that are going to happen that might make a few people unhappy".**

Yes, like the fact that YOU'RE STAYING!

Beau Ryan might be a victim of his own success here. If you're going to get rid of a player mid contract, you have to find another club prepared to take them. You'd find most NRL teams could find a use for Beau at the right price, which makes him easy to shift if hard decisions have to be made. A Joel Reddy or Tom Humble would be harder to sell, cos no one else wants them either. They'll just continue to take up salary cap while we pay them to play NSW cup until their contracts expire.

I hope the team can juggle things to keep Ryan, as well as being good value in our backline, his profile adds to the Tigers marketability, which makes the club a more attractive product to prospective sponsors. I know if I was in marketing for Hyundai I'd be very happy to have my logo on Beau's shirt.

People have been callig for a player clean out for years… Now over the past 2 seasons it's happening and people are whinging about it...

Also for a bit of left field news ...... **Robert lui may be returning to the club**... Parra and dragons also in the mix

Surely you are joking! If the sponsors didn't want Willie Mason can't see them too keen on Lui.

In saying that he he came back to half and Benji at 6 with Anasta moving to 13 we would be a far more dangerous team.

funny how Sheens is looking for Depth yet he shuns the one Guy who can cover 4 positions very competently.

who can cover 4 positions?

Humble has played 1, 7 and 9 in first grade this year, and 6 for BRET. Pretty handy player to have in your ranks I'd say. But of course, I'm no Sheenius

Yeah Humble has been one of Sheens' more bewildering decisions. For a younger guy playing in a new team with new structures. He never did poorly. Was worth persisting with but it was like Sheens had already made his mind up???

He pegs them before the season starts on differening levels
They stay there all year regardless of performance
No reward
No accountability

The thing I find bemusing in this whole situation is Sheens saying we lack depth now we have the 20's & reggies into the grand final qualifer. He let go Eviringham & Matt Ryan (even Mitch Brown but they were different circumstances) which I can understand to an extent because I believe there is better in the club, but he never gives them an opportunity. I am pretty sure at the start of the year he stated that one area we had improved on was depth. The club has to bite the bullet & let him go before he tears the heart out of the place.

Take two!:
Ive no problems with Heighno & Ryan being punted, my concern is who theyre replaced with

Noofalumu in the 20's was resigned for a further 3 years starting next season and can play on the wing or in the centres. TBH have not seen much of him but those who have regard him highly, can only have been given such a contract with an expectation he'll play FG sometime in the future. Somebody also said T.Simona had been signed on for next season and has impressed in his very limited exposure to FG. Both will come into consideration for the vacant wing position if Ryan is moved on.

As for Heigno, well we've signed Thompson/Pettybourne/Anasta who can all aptly play in the backrow. Not to mention BMM, whose development should justify a starting spot sometime in the future.

Agree Tigerpete

If you compare him to Blair he had a harder job trying to fit in with the Tigers but wasn't given the same chances as Blair was .

Had a bit of a thought on this and have slightly changed my tune

The only reason I will accept dumping Rhino or any other player/players is if we can get a REAL QUALITY HALF BACK in exchange

An imminent return perhaps!

I kid.
