Can anyone tell me until when Chris Lawrence is contracted? I'm beyond frustrated with his performances. The sooner Simona is back the better.

Yea he signed that deal a couple of rounds before he did his hip dislocation

i think the standard for us should be max 3 year contracts with 1 year options (our option).

these 4 year deals with blair and gibbs and 5 years for lawrence were way too long at the time. easy to say in hindsight, but it should be something we try to enact in the future

So what about Tedesco' a contract, that is rumored to be 4-5 years so your saying we should only sign him for 3 years ?

3 years and a 1 year option.

so 4 years.

what happens if he tears his ACL again next year and cant recover like he has this time? we just keep paying someone who's never going to fulfill that potential until 2019 if hes on a 5 year deal.

It's not his constant injuries I'm concerned with, it's his lack of ability. Can anyone tell me when was the last game that he had a stand out performance? I can't recall one for years now and yet, whenever he's "fit" it seems he's in. I'd rather his injuries take longer to heal. Can the sharks afford another one?

If we sign Inu, Wouldnt mind seeing Chris off the Bench & Playing in the backs & 2nd Row, Could go really well.

Can't be a benchy on his coin

Muscle on his frame and a shift to the backrow would be the best for him at this stage -

Ergh….. I sound like Sheens....

I've always thought that would be the fix for Lawrence. But watching his runs out of our red zone this year, he always starts strong but ends up getting pushed back the 3 or 4m that he gains.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but i don't think Lawrence has played in an semi-pro side in his career (jokes about the quality of tigers' squads aside). He went from high school to NRL. Never played flegg, u-20s or reserve grade. Not sure if he ever even played sg ball or matts for wests either.

He seems to take things for granted seeing it was so easy for him to go from schoolboy > NRL star. Give him a few months in NSW Cup to toughen him up and see if he has the desire and ability to dominate at that level. If not we can tell him to piss off!!

Lawrence is contracted till the end of 2016….so 2 years more after this one.

Can we sell him to the tigersharks ????? Probably go well with his mate blake ashyford.

Give him a nice leather recliner if necessary to make the decision sit more comfortably.
