Played like a champ.

Lets hope he is never used as a centre again, its been obvious to anyone with eyes that he needed to be moved to the backrow for a long time now.

Change happens slowly at this club.

Has been decent all year…played his best game tonight....!2runs 103m 29tackles 0 missed 1lb 2 tries 1pc...any back rower would be happy with that...

Back row is his spot...Well in Rowdy...

Great game.

Here's hoping injuries don't prevent this shift being permanent, as has been the case before.

Killed it tonight. A real stand out positive in a poor performance tonight. I just hope he gets plenty of confidence out of that and makes the back row spot his own. Well done Chris.

I wonder if he can put on a little bit more size now.

His defensive technique is great, he felled Dave Taylor 1-1 and works the attacker onto his back well. Didn't miss a tackle.

He did more than Sironen and Lovett combined over 10 rounds with that one performance tonight. Ran hard and ran the lines he used to when he was a damaging centre. This is his new position, if he puts on a few more Kg's he might be a handy second rower with the lines he runs and his motor and attitude to the game.

Rowdy was great, only the majority of the forum saying he should have been moved to 2nd row years ago.

He has been poor for years but there is no denying that he was one of the few highlights last night.Hopefully he is given the rest of the season playing in the 2nd row

Been saying for 2 years he's the club's best backrower. We would be mad to let him go based on last night's game playing there. He's just what we need. If he can get some help on the other side then we have a good pack. I think Siro can do it but may need to come off the bench for the remainder of this year before he's ready.

Good effort and game from Rowdy last night, hope he stays in the backrow for the rest of the year.

Was brilliant last night , there is no doubt backrow is his position now .
I would be more than happy for him to even play out next year in this position . It's easy to critique him in the Centres cause opponents Centres have the speed to get around him quite easily.

But credit where is due , was our best last night.

And next year and then hopefully a few years after that too Willow. How good would it be if he did a complete 180 with his career after making this switch. I honestly think he can do it, and would love to see a local kid come good as we all would.

You could almost see his confidence building with every run last night. Hopefully he gets a run at it this year and is able to lock down one of our back-row spots long-term. One less problem for Taylor to sort out with our list.

Wasn't it nice to see Chris get back and tear onto the ball like he did when he scored

Take note Sirro , get back further and run onto the ball , I reckon the quicker you are moving the better your footwork responds to what you see at the line

Im really p!ssed off we got beaten but im very happy for Rowdy and extremely proud of how he played.
Hope he performs in 2d row on a consistent basis. He has NEVER been afraid to put his body on the line and fits right in.

Can turn out to be a player like Luke Lewis or Gareth Ellis (i hope)
