Necks can be tricky…

first and foremost , i hope it gets sorted and he recovers well and
is ready to go when he starts with us next year….

if not , then , he has $1.2mil and 3 years to recover.

Their round 19 update just said it was a week to week prospect with his neck. It's apprently better this week than last week.

No mention of Boyle in their round 19 injury update, so looks like he's just been dropped. Could mean he's signed elsewhere, or could just mean they think he's crap…

McQueen has been playing injured for a while. news is he needs neck surgery and could be out for 4 months. He should get it done now if it's the case. Titans are out of the running.

This is starting to have a familiar ring to it already.
Is there a limit to the number of crock purchases who we can employ to be a club Mr. Nice Guy.
Let's hope there's a clause in his contract that states that he has to pass a stringent medical exam before he starts here

To be fair he wasn't injured when the Tigers signed him nor does anyone know the extent of it.

The big difference is …if it is nerve damage such as Dwyers was then he is gone,if it is a burner and only soft tissue damage then he will be fine..the medical science these days are unbelievable for athletes to make full recoveries..

Oh please by your logic you'd have never resigned Marshall or signed Prince in the first place…

I'm hearing its far worse than the Titans expected. His nerve / neck issue could not only end his season, but possibly his career. Gee I hope we have a get out jail free card / get off the bus card on his contract, and not be stuck in the same predicament as we were with Matt Balin. Guess we're gonna have to sit and wait this one out and see what the outcome is.

Marshall was worth the risk due to his age and obvious ability, and Prince was in the same basket, especially as there was no other good halves that wanted to come here.

McQueens best days are behind him. .
All I meant was , that I hope that he is completely fit when we get him, as , if ongoing Injuries havent been the main reason for his form this year, then , from what I've seen certainly not worth the risk

Fair enough. I'll wait to see how he starts the year before kicking him.

I for one still think McQueen will be a good signing. He is the perfect build for an edge forward, experienced, hard head and from everything I've heard the ultimate professional off the field. This is the type of player we need at the club to turn the culture around.

He would be the ideal guy to have defending next to our halves. Hopefully he neck issue is cleared up and he starts the pre season 100% ready to go.

serious injury hope he recovers. Good player but this may be the last of him in the NRL. He's a tough player if he fully recovers doing this now will be a blessing for next year.

APPARENTLY Going under the knife for neck operation rumoured might need special neck brace next year similar to what Tate used to wear.
Wish him good luck with the Op!
