Good edge running, current international backrower with the diversity in his game to play centre or even in the halves if required for 400k and people are crying about him. LMAO some just are alergic to optimism.

Agree a good signing too much negativity on this forum. Let's judge the team 6 to 8 weeks into next year. I'm sure we will at least be a very very competitive team next year that will be worth watching every week rather than once a month

There's no way that the team will be given 6 to 8 weeks before the pitchforks, flares and ropes come out on this forum.

Sad but true.

That's the problem though isn't it. We were hamstrung by salary cap for years now we are free and have money to spend we are that desparate for success that we have failed unlesswe win every game

Im just looking forward to seeing the team play with a bit of heart.

Iam not sure its lack of heart at present, I think we have hit rock bottom with ability and morale. Half the team know they will not be there next year and the only thing we can achieve this year is the spoon, so I would imagine motivation at present is out the window.

We saw last year its a fine line between playing very well and playing busted

I don't think heart has anything to do with it. It must be hard getting up each week when we just don't have it in us at the moment.

I do agree though that it's a fine line between being a quality team and a busted one. I think we can turn the team around with some signings and the team having some time to figure out where everyone fits.

Im starting to feel that McQueen is going to be an extremely important signing. I think we have underestimated the importance of a backrower with his body shape will bring to us. Tall and athletic is what we are craving on the edges.

Yeah, I understand that, and I think you're right. This season has pretty much had the rug pulled out from under it.
I was just referring that the reputation of playing with a lot of heart seems to follow some of the new pick ups including McQueen and Reynolds in particular. I also reckon some of the more fringe pickups will be playing out of their skins with the new opportunity and increased competition for positions.

He's the forgotten man amongst the new brigade. All the attention has been on Reynolds and Packerlino. Even the outside backs have gotten more hype.

Packerlino is gold.

McQueen's neck injury is a concern…talk he may not play again this year....

Ive watched McQueen a bit since we signed him and he works hard but he just didn't look himself, no speed in his runs, dropping off tackles things his not renowned for. Looked like he was exhausted or carrying an injury but trying to play through. If it is serious and does need the remainder of the year to recover that's the best possible scenario for it to be discovered this year and not when he comes to us. Hopefully he will be well rehabilitated by the time his ready to play with us.

I agree with this.

I watched McQueen lately too and the dropping off tackles was a huge concern. Hopefully it was due to the neck and getting that right is the best thing
