Mate … it’s beyond obvious as well . Just people can’t get past themselves to see it . And in all the arguing over the past couple of years I’ve never seen a reasonable argument to justify not doing it . And I’m sorry nostalgia is not a good enough reason IMO.
Those who are forever looking back are never looking forward.

This is current news. A board with the worst record in the NRL over the last decade instigated a hostile takeover of a functioning independent board that was getting results.

Shaun has been very open and transparent, making himself available and doing his best to make things better moving forward.
Barry is now putting out statements to correct incorrect information being spread.
All our players sound extremely positive and optimistic about is have a successful season.
As of now everything is positive, why keep bringing up the negatives of the past ?

So far in 2026 there has been no word of any infighting, no word of any blockages or interference to prevent our football department from doing their job and no word of an reason to prevent our players training and playing to the best of their ability.
Surely this is a good thing ?
Why are sone people so insistent on continually bringing up past issues that are not currently a problem ?
Look forward, not back we cannot change the past.

They were about to throw the club down the toilet a month ago based on the above and those calling the shots are still running the club

Yet you want us to bury our heads in the sand because they haven't blown the club up in a month?

Maybe look up the definition of propaganda to get an understanding that constantly bringing up problems that do not currently exist is a clear definition of propaganda and that’s exactly what you are doing.

Yes, it's wonderful. Would be even better if it lasted more than a few months.
Weve missed the top eight every season since 2011, finishing 9th in 2012, 2013 and 2016. And here we are 10 years later still in fairy land.

I can’t argue with what you have written, but surely if we don’t hear a peep out of the board except from chairman Barry and our team shows good improvement on the field, we can at least be satisfied with that.

You don’t have to be happy with what happened a couple of months back k, nobody has asked or expected you to be happy about it.
However you don’t seem convinced or want to believe there is a new direction that was instructed via PVL’s involvement even though this has been confirmed in some of Shaun’s recent comments.

We have the same owners. Nothing has changed.. PVL doesn't own the club.. What if PVL leaves after the next tv deal? Then where are you going to place your delusions that the owners have learnt their lessons?

The question is why would a genuine fan choose to accept the ineptness? The only reason I can come up with is they must have a vested interest.
