Cleary's first night of mistakes

No Cleary didn't make the mistakes the players did. Brooks and Moses were hopeless in the last 20 - they were terrible. Blame Cleary for kicking out on the full or kicking dead for 7 tackles?

Did anyone do that? U do know that aspects of games can be discussed without laying the loss on that. No one has said these calls by Clearly cost us the game mate.

Cleary said in the press conference the interchange is a problem with guys still learning to play big minutes. So obviously thats why he felt Liddle and McIlwrick needed to be on at the same time. While i cant agree with the call, i guess he woyld know better than me.

The reshuffle i definitely feel was wrong.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but I agree. My first thought when Teddy went off was Moses to fullback. In hindsight this was brilliant, as the further he was kept from any organising role, the better.

So many coaches out here saying what Clery should have done

This is NOT fantasy league guys, he is a First Grade coach who spends all the time with boys at training and we spend none

Im sure he knows what he is doing.

If Nofo was fit he would have gone to FB and done a better job than Naiqama
No one would have complain then

This is a Wests Tigers supporters forum. People come here to comment on the team, including tactics. If you can't deal with that, maybe try a different website.

theres a few things i'd like to say but due to forum rules i cant

i didnt stop anyone from sharing their views or opinions

you on the other hand are suggesting it.

So how about you contain your emotions and sit back down !!

Mate say what you like, I will not complain. Im big enough and ugly enough to cop whatever you want to say.

There are no emotions.

I come here to read other peoples' thoughts on the Wests Tigers. The better thoughts are the ones like KS's above. Whilst I don't fully agree with them on this particular occasion, I don't want people being discouraged from posting such views.

A response that "Im sure the coach knows what he is doing" is clearly trying to discourage people expressing such views.

If you don't agree with KS's view then set out your reasons rather than simply saying "You don't know what you are talking about because our coach is a first grade coach". That doesn't progress the discussion anywhere.

We have had discussions about weakening other positions when trying to fix one.

I dont think we were in a position last night to make multiple positional changes due to the fact we were 2 players down.

Can you image the effort Moses would have put in at FB had he been moved
Followed by the whinging from him he was moved from his preferred position

It was a catch 22 last night, Cleary would have attracted criticism either way.
Im glad he didnt do anything silly like Lovett to Center like JT had

I agree with you mate.

Its very hard to make the right adjustments when you are down your 2 most important players injured for the rest of the game and your most influential back (nofo)a passenger due to being on 1 leg.You have very few options at your disposal i cant fault the coach for doing what he did or the vast majority of the players for their efforts.

Cleary made the right choices IMO.
If we had a full bench- Moses shoulda been hooked but yeah, did what we could with what we had.

Tough spot to be in tbh - none of the FB options were overly desirable.
Frustrating too, given that we conceded two tries on the back of poor positional play at the back.

Why not? We would have blamed the previous coach for it!
