Club Statement - Tedesco and Woods

But basically the club knows there gone !

What I said before Hobbo , again the club wants to come out smelling like roses

This takes the blame game and points it solely at Woods and Tedesco ….

Happy not trying to upset anyone here, but what more could have the club done? And what was so bad for these players to treat the club this poorly?

I don't agree the club can come out of this smelling like roses happy.

I think it reflects badly on the club that our two star juniors don't want to play for us, especially when we have made generous offers for them to stay.

I, as a member, want to know why. I'm afraid that we will only get spin from management.

Its clear as day how things are panning out…. Issac Moses is behind all the media leaks that surround the Big 4....always has been.

So the club impose a deadline on Tuesday and on Wednesday, then by coincidence the rumour mill where Woods and Teddy are going heads into overdrive....

The club has done the right thing, Moses has strung the club along for months hyping them up, with all intentions of shopping them around...

Going on Woods' reactions on NRL 360 Tuesday and him having lunch with his future mates on Wednesday Woods is as good as GONE.

Teddy on the other hand, whilst being pursued heavily by the Roosters is not over the line and hopefully Brooks gets in his ear and he stays!.

I read that Brooks' interview where he said he hadn't spoken to Mitchell Moses about staying at the WTs. He didn't believe it was his business to do so and I congratulate him on his maturity. Similarly, if Tedesco finds it difficult to motivate himself over 1.1 or 1.2 million then Brooks shouldn't be concerned.

Honesty I guess for starters , the players had no idea Taylor was going to be sacked and the club knew for at least two months it was probably on the cards

If they've told the club on Tuesday they are leaving, why would the club issue a deadline? Why not just announce they have withdrawn their offers. Best case scenario here is they know Woods is gone, but are still hopeful for Tedesco. Wishful thinking i know, but the statement doesn't really add up either.

Sorry, didn't the statement say that the board met on Tuesday with Isaac Moses and told him that the deadline is now Friday?

Their contracts will be withdrawn tomorrow - or signed tomorrow.

Didn't that photo of Woods and other Bulldogs players having lunch just turn up yesterday? Guess who took the photo.

Yeah, I got to admit its going to be tough watching these blokes play for the rest of the year.

As long as they don't dog it I guess I will be there but it will hardly be a great atmosphere for the rest season.

Same here I think if they signed somewhere else I would be happy to move them on straight away because of the way they've treated the clubs fans that have supported them through the bad times I wouldn't even care if we lost every game as long as we had 13 real Wests tigers out there I would be happy

Not really. They could stay and get money that I believe is way to high. If they decide to leave, then they get what they get. Tough. Not the club's fault.
