We were tipped to be bottom 4\. With a bit of luck we could have easily been entrenched in the 8\. People are so quick to point to statistics with the defence yet totally ignore the ladder. We went from 15th to 9th. That is an improvement no matter how you try and twist it. He deserves one more yr.

Statistics about defence?? You mean the defensive myth lol lol lol.

Not twisting anything. We turn up to the game yesterday and give a half decent performance and lose, and we would be upbeat.

Thanks for proving my point

I think you should take up a career with …
"Ripleys beleive it or not "
I think you'd be really good !

He's already got a job as Taylors publicist , and that pretty hard.

We have been a poorly managed Club. 9th is our best finish since Sheens in 2012\. He should be judged after 2017\. No Semis, and get rid of him.

Of course he does.

As for Leichhardt oval being the spiritual home of the Weststigers, I think not. Maybe for Balmain. That's it.

You know this for a fact, do you?

This despite the players saying the opposite.

Well it is for me anyway, whether we win or get beaten by 50.

 The master has remedied the cohesion issue and the results were there for all to see yesterday. **I was almost delighted with our energy levels yesterday**. Absolutely superb!

I don't doubt you were delighted.

As the master informed us all (more than once), it is not about winning.

I'd forgotten that, thanks
Actually I may be wrong about Taylor.
The team really did learn from him.
they really seemed like they are convinced that it's not about winning.
And As they certainly showed Yesterday , They'l do anything to reach that goal.
Bring on 2017 and Just watch us go on our non winning way,
I'm really excited about next season now.
Yay Taylor!!! :master:

We might get a few in the forum putting up their hands for the coaching position.

It's pretty easy.
All you have to do is say weird things and hide your head when we cop a belting.
Chant a few slogans( you can get then cheap from Tony Abbott, he's got a million)
And get in good with a board member or two.
And blame everything on previous Coaches.
It's a doddle ,
Where do we apply?

First post but not my first time here. There are some real negative "supporters" here. You moan about your losses but you never celebrate your successes. You hate the coach, the players and each other. Maybe you need to find a different team to support, cause you ain't doing a very good job of supporting this one.

Welcome, I'm relatively new as well and at first i thought the same thing but I've come to relies we are all actually very passionate about the club!

Its just my wife won't listen to me carry on about the tigers and these members do. When its Wests Tigers V "Enter Name" we stand side by side. I Think :sign:

Oh no

Ivan Cleary To St George Illawarra

Triple M's Paul Kent reports the Dragons are in discussions with Ivan Cleary and that "the job is his if he wants it."

It's understood St George Illawarra want a long term coach with NRL experience at turning a struggling club around.

The Warriors are also chasing Cleary, but Ivan's superstar son Nathan, who is currently playing halfback at the Panthers, will play a big part in the decision.

http://www.triplem.com.au/sydney/sport/nrl/news/2016/9/audio-ivan-cleary-going-to-st-george-illawarra/

Just shows other clubs who have missed the 8 are not sitting around twiddling their thumbs saying we got so close, next year will be better, they are doing something to fix the problem, unlike us. :crazy

Would be interesting to see who would put up their hand up for the job should the board embark on a change of coach. It's not a job for the faint hearted at the best of times given our recent track track record with coaches. The club should be thinking ahead in case the team has another below par performance in 2017 … That's what smart boards and management teams should be thinking.

Thanks for the welcome.
_" When its Wests Tigers V "Enter Name" we stand side by side"._ Most of you maybe but definitely not all. I would even go as far as to say that some celebrate the losses rather than the successes. They are probably all the RF sentimentalists.

I vote for JT to coach the team in 2017…the only period to review the coach in 2017 would be after round 13...if we have **not** won more than we lost then they should be on the lookout for a replacement....

Mc Gregor might??? St George are talking to Cleary so he might be looking for a new team.

Moving farah on is half the job done. For the other half for a completly fresh start time to move JT on. I would of given JT another year if we made semis, but we didnt and we have the second worst attack. Doesnt make any less of a supporter than you.
