Coach and CEO interview

Wish someone asked about Rona liking the Wests Tigers page
In all seriousness i enjoyed it a lot, thought it was relatively open with the obvious exception of not divulging sensitive info which is totally understandable.
I thought it was quite interesting in regards to the goal kicking options, seems like Cleary is quite comfortable putting some extra work into a 65-70%er like Lolohea to get them to where they need to be had to laugh at how he mentioned his son im guessing he mentored him

Part two was decent too. Good that he was asked about Marsters and about the defence on the edges. Would like more of this kind of thing. Hopefully if there is more it will be less about recruitment and more on game style etc

This is great. Their answers appear sincere without going into detail - which is understandable.

Also either Ivan is a heavy breather or the mic is too close

Good to have some insight into the club. Hopoate to WT basically ruled out from this Q&A him wanting to stay at the bulldogs.

The dogs have no cap space for Hoppa, they are shedding players not buying now, Hoppa can want to stay, but the cap says otherwise.

Kasiano is on 700k and they're moving him on next year. They might have get rid of some more but, I don't think they'll have too much trouble doing that.

Hmm one thing I would like thohgh is too ask better questions. If uninformed supporters ask questions like individual recruitment then were not going to learn anythimg. Amazed about hoppa. But the fact we already got tui negates that fullback question. Can the supporters somehow put a vote on what questions to ask?

Questions like 'Why is ET the only player who slows the ruck down and what are we doing to improve this area?' , 'Why are we consistently putting smaller forwards in our side to face bigger packs like raiders and the sharks?'

Would just like them to know we would like transparency on selection policy..

Not necessarily re Tui negating the fullback question. If by some miracle Lattrel Mitchell was behind the Roosters reference then he would play fullback and Tui could slot into the centres. If we signed Gordon though, he'd get pushed out to the wing. Their demeanour told me they seem pretty confident about picking up some handy outside backs, if they haven't already and just aren't in a position to disclose the information yet.

Mitchell said he prefers centre, Gasnier reckons he will be the best left centre in the game in 18 months.

We will take Elliott, so they don't have to re-sign him if that will help. 😛ray:

This one was heaps better…faith restored...thumbs up..

As to the edge defence ...Ivan..'It's not just the winger..it's often that whole side the centre the half and even the second rower'..well bugger me...trying to fix some things on the run but it's difficult...We will defend differently next Year...Yay...

Good initiative by the club. Cleary definitely comes across as one of the most laid back coaches out there. Good to see McIlwrick is wanted by the club. I get the impression Jamal's career, certainly at Wests Tigers is just about over.

Good on the club for doing these. Nice to hear that they are on top of all the things we tend to worry about.

Also great to see a bit of personality from Cleary and Pascoe.

A few things.

Ivan wants to win. All answers focus on wanting to win, this is infectious and will be good for the squad next year especially with the players coming in.

Wests Magpies state cup - interesting, no state cup at liechardt oval then. Lots of catchment commitment.

Confident about the Center of excellence, I hope they get the funding.

Part 3 - good to hear about centre of excellence and also pathways with teams and coaching etc.
