Defensively atrocious at times.

At this point at the start of his career very slow defensively has to improve immensely, Attack playing against men the same way he played against kids difference being the men are smashing him every week.
I’ve said before my thoughts on purchasing Averillo (another poor defensive outside back) if the amount mentioned $ is correct our management have rocks in their heads.

Turuva - played in two premiership winning teams at the best club team in 60 years … in my opinion his problems relate to when he is being forced to play Center and Fullback through necessity… this shouldn’t be happening as often as it does
Makasini is a bit harder to justify … he is 18 and has shown nothing during an actual NRL game … however there is a valid argument that he has not been given the opportunity to play on the wing where he showed a bit of pre season form … I would like to see him given a long go there to see if they have something … I don’t see a better option already at the club
Averillo - would be the second best Center at the club…has some much needed speed

Turuva is a Winger ONLY leave him there.
Makasini needs to go back to reserve grade and learn his trade
being what they see his future as a Centre or Wing
Averillo might be our 2nd best centre option which I think is more a demonstration of how bad our stock is for the centre position and yes he would probably be faster than any of our players we have in the centre or wing positions.
As I’ve stated I’m more concerned about his D.

I’m not bagging Makasini I’m just of the opinion that he has a lot to work on in his game defensively and attacking and under the pressure of NRL is not the place for that.
He’s so young if he gets it all together in half a year he would be back in as a what 19yo.
My concern with Averillo is the amount $ we were suggested to have spent, Don’t worry I hope I am wrong with him and he is a permanent centre in our team for the length of his contract.

People don't rate Luai but expect the coach to make him accountable for a 68 point massacre. Did you not see the domination in every facet of the game. When has any back excelled with 36 % possession behind a pack that was completely and totally dominated.
It would great to set an example and make some one a scapegoat for that debacle but dropping one of the only players who has ever experienced any level of success when the majority of the squad is inept would be the dumbest move of all time if you want to attract players to a struggling club.

Salary aside there are plenty of players i would be dropping after that debacle before Luai.
