I don’t believe that a team of professional rugby league players could be so consistently awful at executing fundamental aspects of the game.
I’d love to be proved wrong but I have a hard time seeing a will to win.

But at least they realized that the one they kicked to the right side resulted in a try and thought, better not do that again, let's kick it to the left side this time.

Why the hell wouldn't you kick long when you are such a bad defensive team instead of risking giving the opposition 6 tackles deep into your red zone and most likely gifting them an almost certain try.

What is with these short drop outs all of a sudden? Can understand if your two points down with a minute left. But in the middle of a game what do they achieve?

Title of the thread: coach cant train intelligence: to an extent no, but he hires them, her nurtures and trains them. He spends all week with them. He tell them to kick short and take 2 point field goals when the game is in the balance and we have field position. He instills a losing attitude against a third grade team.

Because they don't think they can tackle ......down by 2 ...20 minutes to go .......some of the most screwed up mindsets I've seen from any NRL team ...even the Walker Brothers wouldn't have called that

And unfortunately one of the very few players who does care for winning, who does give it his all, who puts his body on the line, went down in the 1st minute and probably won't be back this year.

Why?

He just says empty shit all the time. Ebbs and flows. Ebbs and flows. He doesn't come across as particularly smart footy wise or anything. He says the same shit I could say to them. I don't think that doco showed anything special at all. He comes across as really average. And there is something just uninspiring about him. I've felt this long before the doco but have given him the benefit of the doubt for years because I wnt this team to be good.
