Could Tim Sheens be a good chance for dally m coach of the year?? Taking us from 9th to 2nd(so far). I will put my hand up & say that i wanted him gone during this season but he got our season back on track & results speak for them selves good luck to him,
:sign:

Maybe. Brian Smith has improved the Roosters alot too. Matt Elliott..

I think many would say we've been winning games in spite of Sheens…..

In saying that though, the mental side of the team has changed this year, they are mentally tougher

I would think Brian Smith would be more in the running

he has turned the team around from wooden spooners last season, to at worst finals berth this season.
.
in all due fairness, this award should not be given out until the grand final is won.
the coach of winning team, should be coach of the year.

LOL - youv'e gotta be joking!!!

He should be thanking the boys and Folkesy for the fact he still has a job!

Are you saying it's in spite of Sheens…..really?

Bellamy for mine .....Look at the way he's got the Storm up week in week out playing for nothing...Oh apart from $$$$$$$$$$$$

I love this forum! Coach of the year this week, probably the reason we don't win the grand final and we should sack him in a months time. It's brilliant.

Brian Smith, hands down. Matt Elliot, yes, but he has amazing talent under him, and his tactics have been found out in the last 6 weeks.

To bring a team from wooden spooners to premiership contenders is a massive ask for a new coach, and while Carney has had a massive influence, it's really that forward pack that has improved out of sight this year. An amazing performance from him.

Some of you people are fair dinkum touched in the head. Sheens aint the worst coach in the comp but he's nowhere near the best performed this season.

lol…crazy stuff.

Smith, Elliot…geez even Bellamy deserves some kudos for getting his team to perform for nothing this season. Sheens has done a good job but coach of the year? this forum is Bipolar by nature.

WestTAhger has a good point

Not much of a point at all.
The GF is one game, yes its the premiership….but to award such an award based on 80 or so minutes is too simplistic.
Far too much can happen during a season, and from where a coach can take a team from the previous season.

Hell no.

What about Rick Stone from the Knights, if Newcastle manage to get into the Top 8 he definitely deserves a go, to have 2 key players in Wicks & Houston up on very very serious charges and not let it de-rail their season is a pretty fair effort.

K Moore from the mutts for ensuring the team I hate above all failed in 2010

Sheens is the best coach - Long may he reign in the tiger land
