2013 is shaping up as a great year for touring bands coming to Oz.

Early March, Neil Young and Crazyhorse. 2 nights later: Metallica/Slayer.

April: Black Sabbath and the mighty Ozzy Osbourne…....SHAAAAARONNNN!

Really hits you in the wallet though, tickets are friggin expensive these days that is for sure. But you can't put a price on legends I guess...I can't wait :righton:

Pity Bruce Springsteen is only doing a select number of cities though, that would be a great concert as well.

Anyone else got any of their favourites coming to town?

Saw Springsteen in 1985 and he is The Boss

Love Neil Young that would make Happy happy

How sad that the only concert I have been to in the past couple of years was The Wiggles on Saturday.

p.s they ROCKED!!!

Just had a little look and it is Travis. But looks like IS coming now.
Found this in an article.

The drummer had previously said that the trio would have to tour Australia without him as he is still struggling with a phobia of flying as a result of the 2008 plane crash he endured while travelling with DJ AM, but he now appears to have changed his mind.

I heard that they're going to give him strong sleeping tablets to knock him out for the flight here and back. Excited for a few bands at soundwave festival next year (linkin park, metallica, bring me the horizon, northlane, while she sleeps, etc)

Yeah I've only got a Soundwave ticket so far. Really looking forward to that. It looks an awesome line-up.

The Boss would put on an awesome show I am sure- I think I heard the other day that his concert goes for 3 and a half hours! That's a fair effort from the old boy. Where abouts did you see him Happy, in Oz or overseas somewhere?

Brisbane , but I'm having trouble remembering where it was at Brain keeps telling me QE2 stadium but brain has drunk heaps of grog both on Saturday and last night 😕

I had a good day at Soundwave yesterday.

What I saw of Linkin Park was very good. Blink 182 were good but Offspring were the favourite for me. They were awesome.

The Garbage and Paramore delays annoyed me a fair bit. I had planned to watch more of Lincoln Park and some Metallica but I wasn't sure when Blink were then going to play.
