Gotta say the Tigers seem like a much happier bunch these days…...no infighting etc.
Boys overall are putting in and trying but the following are glaring problems that cost them matches like tonite;
1\. Running on 5th tackle play early in 2nd half.....put pressure on us and Sharks scored in the next 2-3 sets.
2\. Meat heads like Lovett giving away penalties on the 5th tackle, then stupid penalties taking the lead to 8 points and so on.
3\. Conceding points just before and after halftime.
4\. Turning over posession in silly places, allowing the other side to get good field position by giving away easy penalties.
ATM the Tigers play like they are a 60 minute side, they are competitive against all teams but they just dont have that consistentcy to worry the best sides.
I think the side is reasonably solid but I think JT needs to tinkler slightly. Surely EDwards, Checam,and Ado Carr are worth considering. Rankin offers nothing on the wing. Buchanan - is like the walking dead.
If JT has half a brain, I say show some Balls, make the odd change.......if nothing else it keeps the players on their toes and by the looks of it........some players need it bad.
