I think that the NRL are grasping at straws if they think they can be up and running by July 1st...a lot of preparing has to go on and they have to make it viable and sustainable for the remaining weeks of the comp..I hope they can get it going but I cant see it happening...but I could be wrong..
I agree that the WTs must secure one home ground, especially now after the financial economy has been hit hard..I don't want to get into an argument over which venue is best but the Club has to work on having the one ground to generate income and at least give the players and fans a place we can call home..when the Balmain Tigers played a home game it was always LO,Wests used to have good old Lidcombe, these were the HOME grounds, however these days with corporate finance and big new stadiums built, many places to play but don't have the sole home ground to call home..LO,Belmore etc have now gone into history and its now time to focus on the one stadium for example where it is a home base for us although it would be shared by others,Bankwest for example...but we need something that can permanently be called our jungle,it wont be easy but should be a main focus in the not to distant future...
eg..if we play at say bankwest,we have to ask is it our home game or theirs, this is what we need a place we can say its our home game and our jungle....Im just not sure if the big stadiums will all survive after this pandemic...no one knows how things are going to end up...just hope we have very limited fatalities from this and life can go back to as normal as possible and people can get back to jobs or find jobs to rebuild their lives, just as Im doing my best I hope that many others can get to the otherside with their lives and families intact...The NRL is really a second thought atm ….
