There might be 18000 at a packed Leichhardt Oval. When I walk in I might have close contact with 200 people. In my seat I’m around maybe 10 people. Let’s triple the total to account for moving around. So I’m in direct contact with maybe 600 people.
Today I caught the train to work, used elevators all day, had lunch in a cafe, had a Friday arvo beer in a packed pub and caught train home. Now I didn’t count but easily close contact with more than 600 people.
The lockout argument is nonsensical.
The ‘essential’ gathering of more than 500 is ok apparently, meaning That public gathering is not going to be deadly.
We are so reactionary. Even our supposed top minds. 48 hours ago all was fine. American sport overreacts and we all follow like lost sheep.

I can't ask for money back that feels like a tantrum. It would be different if it was just the tigers saying ' narh fam we're not playing ' that's clearly not the case. This virus is going to felt globally for many months to come. And demanding the tigers give me money back is only going to add more hardships on the organization. I could afford to pay for the membership b4 so I can do with out the money now

What did the clubs see as faulty by NRL??? Definitely going to heavily cost organisations, most likely, the game itself, but doubtful other than due care the head honcho’s will fork out.

Meant to say, “another lurker”... how would giving the free streams for their online platform help to reimburse clubs or even get the players (potentially in near future) their guaranteed earnings from TV rights broadcasts’ if they’re selfishly monopolising the monies in the wake of an apparently pandemic virus.

What if Fox has to actually shut down the workplace? No more televising.

How will KAYO or the game itself stay afloat?

Could be a very bad look for them to shirk responsibility like that, at this time. More of a 1 in, all in approach is suitable here and I think that means more than covering THEIR asses

Should be compulsory reading but too many believe they know better and there's nothing to worry about.

This virus is already changing the world and it will get a lot worse before it gets better. People have to decide whether they want to be part of the problem or part of the solution. Frankly I don't think the response has been strong or fast enough.
