Public: Bryce, seriously what is up with your anti-vax attitudes.

Cartwright: Whelp, they're not safe and I don't want one of those things causing me to wind up remedial.

Public: Pretty sure you're already there old son, have the jab.

At a minimum. The lying should've bumped it up to around 6 or 7 weeks IMO.
Was May at Cleary's house or was his a seperate incident? May seems like a massive slow-learner.

I agree. The lying by omission is at lease 6-7 weeks, 10 weeks even. Stamp some authority that this sort of behaviour won’t be tolerated.

These videoidiots reminded me of this:

A Chinese-owned social media platform has been poisoning breath mints to accomplish their goals.
It's the TikTok tic tac tactic.

At this time last year (or the year before or the year before that or any year)
would players be getting stood down for not getting a flu jab?

So why are they now?

Because it was part of the deal with the Government(s) on the restart of the NRL that all players and staff be vaccinated. This was one of the conditions of allowing the restart of the NRL. Had it not been included none of the State Governments would have agreed to the proposal.

And forcing people to get flu shots become ok when?

The players have a choice, there are consequences to that choice. They can decide. No one is holding them down and forcing a needle into them.

Apparently, if you get the flu, your immune system is reduced and the there's a higher risk to catch Covid-19.
And if one player gets Coronavirus, it's more likely to spread among the players.
So caution is required.

And yet the flu injection is only around 45% effective.
So 55% of players will get the flu regardless, therefore potentially be more at risk of getting covid19 (apparently)
So if any player gets the flu will they be stood down too?

I would have thought staying away from people with Covid19 is probably a good way to not get it.
I think it's disgraceful that they're forcing people to get the flu jab.

They aren't forcing anyone, they have a choice.

And if I hold a gun to your head and tell you to hand over your wife n children, I'm not forcing you, you have a choice.
So if you choose to not hand them over and I pull the trigger, you killed yourself by not "choosing" to hand them over?

They're being forced into a "choice" and either option isn't what they want to "choose"

No one is holding a gun to anyone’s head. Nor are they try to steal family members. It’s a simple choice. This is the deal that was done to allow resumption of the competition. If you don’t like at as a player you can go and find another job. You are free todo so.

They're being forced to choose between two options that they don't want.
Not really a fair to call it a choice.

If you're forced to choose between getting a bullet in the head or hand over your wife and kids, would you say that's a fair choice?

Because it's the same thing (maybe a little more at stake) but that's not my point, you're still being forced to choose between two options that you don't want
