No offence to our Qld members but I plead with Anna P. to keep the border closed. A State that has given us Jo Bjelke Peterson, Alan Jones and the bordermeister, I say keep it to yourselves. I read an article in the Guardian where Dutts is proposing draconian legislation to take away some of our freedom we currently enjoy under the cover of this pandemic.

I moved from Leichhardt, Sydney to Cairns, QLD 38 years ago
I live in paradise
All these suckers in NSW don't know what they are missing
I for one am happy to keep the boarders closed to that vermin for now
Until they are desease free
Then they are welcome to come spend thier money so I can continue to drink a nice cold beer down at Apres Bar and grill at Palmcove while looking over to the beach and double Island
It's a terrible place to be stuck in this pandemic

I would be happy to show anyone who decided to come to Cairns for a holiday some of our sites

This is a photo I took on Sunday at Palmcove
This croc is less than 10 meters from the Sandy beach of Palmcove
It's about 2.5 meters long
They are around
That's why I offered to take Geo to where the locals go
I hear the crocs getting hungry

Now they spend most of thier time in Canberra
They are closer to Sydney then Queensland
Canberra was once part of NSW

NSW numbers starting to look good with cases the last couple of days all being international arrivals. Hopefully we don't get a spike due to lifting of restrictions, interestingly Argentina that has dealt with Covid 19 quite well, and had similar stats to Australia, has just had some cities go back to tighter restrictions as they got a small spike in cases after loosening restrictions. Fingers crossed we have got this right.

12 Pax on a bus and 32 Pax on a rail carriage. Yet we have Joyce advising us that being packed in like sardines on internal flights is okay so long as you have a face mask and sterilise your own table, armrests etc. Commonwealth CMO apparently agrees. Certainly does raise questions about the independence of some advice. It's sort of like trying to pick up a turd from the good end.
