Human tragedy in Vic Aged Care, that story about an inconsolable old lady whose husband had just died. She said to a lady assisting, he suffered, oh how he suffered. Poor Lady and husband

What a mess the Ruby Princess investigation is showing up, it was established today that an officer from Border Force misinterpreted a form and believed passengers had tested negative for Covid 19 when the results were were Negative for the flu.

Convenient.

Qld = Covid Central more cases today.

Shut the borders Gladys, protect us from Qlders.

Best part is Qlders doing it to Qlders.

At least we got it unintentionally from a Vic.

Northern NSW residents do not want Qlders in NSW

I understand the concerns that businesses across the country have, particularly those in the tourism sector, though I also understand why state leaders still have borders closed or restrictions upon them. What I cannot cop is Clive Bloody Palmer going to the high court to force exposure upon a virus free community, nor the federal government joining him in the action.

Very Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon style."I need to make money and the health of all you peasants is beneath me"

It's also idiotic, because if it spreads back to the covid-free states, we'll be making a lot less money. It is great for the Australian economy that some states and territories are in a position to open up and operate relatively freely with border controls in place. If I was PM and money was my only concern, I'd want to see WA/SA/NT/TAS and QLD shut off from us for longer.

Order online.

Mate there are a lot of people around who don't have internet on their properties

My Mum's 20 minutes from Noosa and if I'm lucky we get access in the middle of her yard

A "misintepreted form?" So that boat docking is the result of an unnamed officer misreading a form? Was it not already established that passengers were ill with COVID on the boat?

ADF are now door knocking every person in Victoria who has a current positive test. Unbelievably 25% of the people they have called on (132 people) were not at home when they called.
These people have been referred to the police who will issue them with $1652 fines. I suspect that is the limit of the police powers in this regard but it is simply not enough.
These are people who are out and about in our community KNOWING that they are infected with Covid 19.
Maybe we should dust off some of those outback camps that we were putting asylum seekers in and charge the buggers for the privilege of staying there.

Mandatory quarantine should be introduced.

Based on what we know, working conditions including the entitlement to sick leave is a common motivation for workers being at work sick. Was it 12 tradies on that tower site in Melb having Covid? Just confirmed is was 20 tradies with Covid on the building site.
