Unions on the rampage over the latest COVID security outbreak in Sydney

Supposedly the company is a Singaporean based security company that sub contracts all its work out to the cheapest bidder

Dan Andrews should never have employed private security guards for Sydney’s quarantine hotels

Should have been military guarding the hotel quarantines.

Vic Police should have been overseeing quarantine as per NSW. ADF should have assisted.

700 staff from Frankston Hospital now isolating, 50 are confirmed cases. Can you imagine household contacts, friends and relatives potentially exposed? The Vic hospital system must be straining.

The Simonds family are now quarantining in a QLD hotel. It is most unfair as the entire 'crew' were polishing the upper decks and applying anti-foul to the hull (albeit some in bikinis drinking cocktails). But seriously, how does Qld provide an exemption when the yacht motored past the NSW coast and stopped at 5 ports, potentially. putting regional communities at risk. It will be interesting to listen to the explanation from Dr Young.

I don't believe I have seen our Premier so angry when the death of the baby was raised.

When the Qld Premier and her CHO can allow a millionaire to flout Vic law by bringing a motor yacht to Qld for repair and at the same time deny a mother critical health care is one of the most tragic and disgraceful happenings in Aus.

I hope our Premier takes strong action such as requesting that all GST revenue from NSW be spent in NSW primarily on providing specialist health care in Northern NSW.

Mate this is so important, suicide has had a large impact on my life and just hope everyone is staying in contact with relatives and friends who may be isolated during these times. Just look out for each other.

To block access to some medical services because you happen to live on one side of the border undermines the health and funding agreements for the States and the Commonwealth. If ever there is a case for NSW to retain monies from GST and tax revenue that is normally reallocated to Qld, now. Is the time. This would allow the provision of specialist health services in Northern NSW with no further reliance on Qld.

If ever there was a case for getting rid of state governments all together, this is it.

24 million people do not require 16 separate houses of parliament, plus local government, to be appropriately governed. This is a "horse and cart" structure not a structure for the internet age.

But I don't see any hope of ever changing it. A referendum requires a majority nationally, a majority of states and a majority in each state.

Without support from both parties and all state governments it will never happen and state politicians will never support getting off the gravy train. Turkeys don't vote for Christmas.

Could you imagine the outcry if a Queenslander was critically injured in a car accident in New South Wales and the New South Wales Authorities stated that New South Wales Hospitals were not for Queenslanders, off you go to Queensland. Too bad if you die on the way.

That woman north of the border and her Chief Medical Officer are nothing but filthy low down scum.

I only wish I could say what I really thought about these political opportunists.
