Use tabo & water to wash yer frikkin ass... A bit weird at first but on a hot day with cold water it's quite refreshing

What the hell is tabo? Like that frothy ENO stuff from back in the day that'd make you burp? 😂

If the Northern Beaches can't get its act together, Operation Shire Freedom will be launched. The Heathcote, Alford's Point, Rail Bridge, Tom Ugly's and Taren Point Bridges will be destroyed. Keep your Covid at The Spit.

The SMH article and our Premier alleges the source may be aircrew from commercial airline(s) not complying with their quarantine guidelines. The system breaks down when some entitled individuals believe the law doesn't apply to them. Time for gaol.

The Premier now advising we should brace ourselves for a significant increase in Covid cases. She blames the dance event at Avalon RSL. The lack of discipline of some Australians never fails to disappoint.

The only bridges that should be destroyed are Victoria bridge and the M4 bridges over the Nepean.

The peninsula has been self isolating for the last 30yrs. Shouldn’t be a problem.

As I wrote last night, I have seen snippets on the international crews being given leeway over time, yesterday morning reading about this having been reasonably commonplace in NSW and worse, known to be so.

If true Gladys needs a boot up her backside as does her health minister

I would assume the spit bridge is up for the next 14 days?

And we had the hide to criticise Victoria for their mishandlings!

It will be interesting to see whether the source is ever confirmed. Plenty of celebrities based themselves in the palm beach area & it has been shown that they are often able to bypass hotel quarantine for more plush surroundings (think Mark Wahlberg was the latest).

Either way it is embarrassing that the latest outbreak seems to be related to an obvious weakpoint in quarantine protocols that governments have failed to address.

Edit: Marky Mark bypassed quarantine, but further north than Palm Beach

28 cases now. Numbers looking like a keno game.

Are the new ones confined to the northern beaches?

Still isolated to the peninsular, so yes.

Yes at the moment but some of these positive cases have travelled and been to places all over Sydney in public transport as well .. one day soon the penny will drop that mandatory wearing of masks is law !This is my main criticism of the government .

Masks won’t save you. They are not the substitute for physical distancing and practicing good hygiene. They help only a very small amount and in some cases make it worse. Most of the people I see wearing mask touch them at least once a minute and then immediately touch other surfaces, with the potential to spread the virus far and wide.

Physical distancing and good hygiene does work.

It's a US strain. One of these Avalon travellers flew to Qld and was contacted by NSW Contact Tracers and told to return and tested positive. All on that flight have been contacted. Another visited Cronulla RSL and that club is closed. These are obviously middle aged to older citizens who should have exercised restraint in travelling.
