It will be a Gold Standard day when Glady actually answers the question that's been asked..

At least she fronts up for the daily NSW briefings. When was the last time you saw "The liar from the Shire" answering questions, much of this problem is because he failed terribly in his vaccine rollout.

100% with the PMs failure.

But, Gladys does not turn up every day. She regularly hides behind others if a question is tricky and walks off stage after an hour.

Dan Andrews turned up every day last year and hung around for 3+ hours until there were no questions left. That's a real leader.

I wish Dan was our premier has **not put a foot wrong !**

Except down wet stairs

It was the bolding of the

This poster has a history of "a friend told me" like posts regarding the virus and vaccination. Should have long been removed for mine.

I did a little searching and found out that J.Deevoy is a journo with the daily telegraph and she is a far left commentator...so they say....I dont think her style of journalism is what is needed in these times of uncertainty and realism of the truth....
we should take real medical and scientific advice for our own health and well being...

That's true Geo, but what I would like to state is how thankful I am to all our health workers and our Police and what an amazing job they've done. I also want to stress how important it is to GET VACCINATED!

She appears to be a freelance journalist who has written for The Telegraph in the UK (not the Daily Telegraph). I don't think the Daily Telegraph employs any "far left commentators", unless it's in the capacity of punching bag. As for Deevoy, I don't know what her political leanings are but she seems to be in with the conspiracy theorists like David Icke.

Amazing to think people still think this way...gotta be a gee up

They’ll come around soon enough when they realise they can’t do anything without it.

Not really sure what to make of it, but there has been a distinct lack of Police presence at the 11:00am press conference in recent days.

I find it unusual that the normally tough talking Police Commissioner Michael Fuller or his Deputies seem to be missing in action at the moment.

I find this especially unusual after stronger powers were given to the police, curfews introduced, fines increased etc. The Police were going to keep everyone in line and on the straight and narrow. I don't know how successful they have been because we don't seem to be hearing a lot from them and every day the numbers seem to go up and the majority seem to be from the same suburbs of concern.

Would have expected a much higher profile from the police letting us know how many arrests have been made and how many fines that have been issued.

Has this all been a failure or are the Police backing off for fear of a backlash from the general public about concerns regarding civil liberties.

Again, there there has been inadequate support this set of lockdowns and if there are even a relative few people spreading the virus in needing to move around because they cannot survive otherwise, the blame lay on governments and not the individuals or families.

It took way too long for the state to make payments for people awaiting compulsory testing and the federal government has come up short as well, with little opportunity to gain employment for many that just happened to be out of work when this hit. Try and survive a couple of weeks on or over the edge, let alone two months of this already and likely another few to come.

No, not a gee up but reality. See I'll get vaccinated providing I feel safe with it, was thinking of Moderna but today read about 2 deaths in Japan from it in their 30s, people unlikely to have died from the virus. And 1 death from Pfiizer in NZ.
And then once vaccinated am I safe or only in a relative sense? Will I feel free or still restricted And will I need boosters every 6 months?

See if I don't feel safe with the vaccine I'm better off taking my chances with the virus,at the end of the day catching it hopefully light is the best proven long term immunity

Furthermore, once vaccinated why will I need to check in with QR codes? Imagine one could go to a WT game check in, see a heartless loss and then get told you are a close contact and have to self isolate for 2 weeks. Then there could be another variant and back in lockdown.

Right from the very beginning the way this was handled from China down, makes one wonder how in this day and age experts could get this so wrong. Does anybody remember the WHO in January 2020 coming out and saying that the virus only transmits from animals to people not people to people! Why didn't experts around the world advise their governments to isolate China before Xmas 2019. Then we heard vacines will give us herd immunity etc etc.

I've lost confidence and am starting to believe restrictions will be long term.
Hope I'm wrong.

The lockdowns won’t last. There will be a revolution if they go beyond Christmas, if not sooner.

Lol in form of what, protests? I’ve never known a group of people in such a position of weakness, act as if they are in such a position of power.

No, but people are fed up. I hear the same every day from all sorts of people from all economic circumstances. The clock is ticking, and the lockdowns must end soon otherwise Governments will suffer the consequences when their constituents turn on them.

They can be fed up all they want, but they won’t change anything.
