West’s Tigers training shutdown due to a trainer testing positive to Covid.

Wonder who it was. Out of pure coincidence, I was standing a few metres away from one of the trainers yesterday.

It didn’t name the person on WT website.

My Partners brother in Philippines has contracted delta... His wife and kids likely as well... His Business shut down no income... Thankfully all vac x2

Same with my wife's family in the Phils as well Ink. The entire family contacted it prior to being vaccinated. Two had to go to hospital, and were released after 7 days.

Glad that they both returned home after that week.

Hi Ink - what vaccine did they have. My in-laws have been in the Philippines the entire pandemic (which is great) and I am pretty sure they have had the Sinovac.

I hope they are doing okay with the business being shut down. I am pretty confident the Philippines won't have disaster payments.

You are correct. Initially it was Sinovac, which has low efficacy. They were getting the other types of Vaccine later so maybe now they have better ones.

Read up on him and the Aids virus and the French doctor's original report that he rewrote and changed the treatment to include his patents and the treatment of HIV / Aids

In 1999 the treatment for aids started to change after the original French doctor's report came out with the help of another doctor who work for Fauci

Crime against humanity

Sad that we see a reflection of results of some of the US politics play out with Covid-19 in Victoria, though good to see that overall vaccination numbers are keeping it mostly in check. Still too many unnecessary deaths.

To see that the death rates in strongly right wing Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon voting electoral areas consistently growing and at some 550% greater (than those similarly slanted towards Biden for months is a disaster resulting from callous grabs for power.

That it split moreso from the beginning of May when there was plenty of vaccine availability shows just how effective both the vaccines have been, but sadly also the Murdoch media and similar (that have their own workplace mandates) along with his political allies have been just as successful in fooling their own base.

I thought the anti-Fauci comments on here were interesting. We have Facuci who is providing the best information that he has accurately whereas Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon lies and has and is continuing to try and overturn the democratic process and yet he doesn't get the negative comments.

What a funny world we live in. Don't give me facts. Give me narratives.

Here is a narrative for you Earl

[U.S. COVID-19 Deaths in 2021 Surpass 2020 Total](https://www.webmd.com/lung/news/20211122/us-covid-deaths-2021-surpass-2020-total)

Orange Man deaths: 385,000

Brandon deaths: 386,000

and Brandon had the advantage of the safe and effective vaccines that the Orange Man delivered.

Now that's a Narrative.

More info on Omicron. There isn't much new here yet but it's confirming the picture so far. Highly contagious but hopefully not as virulent.

It's scary but it could also be the end of the pandemic as we know it in that the virus appears to be doing what viruses do which is become less virulent over time which means we could be moving to an endemic phase. It's out there but it's like the flu and we don't get the increased morality and burden on the hospital system.

Sadly it is the right wing of US politics that has pushed the anti vaccine agenda around the world.Scarily parts of the right wing here have followed suit Allan Jones Craig Kelly Clive Palmer and the Minister for Manila just to name a few. They are spreading lies among all Australians and some of the gullible are falling for it.
I have no doubt that some Australians would still be alive if they had not believed some of the right wing crap

I love narratives. A good story to avoid facts and rational thought.

I'll have a look at this one. I wonder if it's like the Florida narrative that I was informed about on here. The one where they had high vaccination rates and there were still deaths which was a completely false read on the facts.

The reality was that were under vaccinated plus they had minimal restrictions and COVID deaths were huge.

Another narrative is that the PCR tests don't work. That was hilarious.

Are you pushing an anti-vax narrative because yet again that article is not anti-vaccine.

Vermont has the lowest COVID-19 death rate per 100,000 people since the pandemic began, according to the Journal. The state also has the most vaccinated population, with 72% fully vaccinated.

Mississippi has the highest death rate since the pandemic began, the newspaper reported. The state is among the least vaccinated states, with 47% fully vaccinated.

Are you stating that Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon saved lives whereas Biden is killing them ?

Honestly that is bizarre.

Earl, look up Dr Mullis the inventor of the PCR test...he is quoted as saying that you can find anything you want with the test and shouldnt be used to find viruses..
the cycles of the PCR test should be around 28/30 cycles to be used properly....during this Scamdemic they were used at about 45 cycles and gave huge amounts of FALSE POSITIVES...
a test was done on a watermelon...it was put into the test...the melon tested positive for COVID 19...
You like to rely on science Earl, and here is the inventor of the PCR test telling you not to use it as the higher the cycle the higher false positives...
As for Faucci ,he and others are the most evil corrupt officials on the planet...search him and find the inhumane experiments he did on foster children and disposed of their bodies in mass graves..
beagle puppies was also a favourite of his ...he would sever their vocal cords when he did an experiment on them so you wouldnt hear them cry when he put their heads in a clear lab box and inserted diseased sandflies in there to watch the effect on the pup while the flies ate away at their faces..
when you find out more you will be disgusted that this lowlife is still giving advice...$$$ rules his domain not health....
PS..he also has huge shares in many vaccine patents as well...

Hi mate - can you explain what you are stating with facts and logic. Consider me as someone who is logical and rational and looks at data and facts to come to a conclusion on the available evidence.

Something like this:-

1. Omicron appears to be more contagious. Some evidence of this is how it has become the dominant variant in South Africa. I've also posted a link to a paper from South Africa (not yet peer reviewed) that provides the same information.
2. Omicron appears to be less virulent. You can watch that video which has some links.
3. We don't have enough information just yet to be sure.

-> Based on these facts/data I can draw two early conclusions. I expect that there will be a 4th wave of Omicron but at the same time if the virus is less virulent we may be seeing the end of the pandemic.

Just try providing a rational well thought out argument.
