Rugby league used to be like playing pinball. No matter how good you get at the fundamentals every game is different and unpredictable.
Now it's a video game, you learn the patterns and strategies of the game and every game's the same until someone makes a mistake.
This sport is crying out for a coach who thinks differently and can pull it off successfully.

Part of the problem is that all coaches have to go through the same system to get accredited. They all learn the same way but the game only allows for small tweaks. Seems that the NRL don’t want any radical coaching ideas !

Very few mistakes.
It was just highly structured attack from both teams that asked no questions of the defence.
Just like our games they just played field position waiting for the other team to stuff up.

We complain about our team in the past but what is the Titans excuse with the talent they have had compared to us, so hot and cold as if they just sign there for the night life.

With Luai hopefully. There’s a lot riding on our halves combo and if Luai wasn’t on the injury list I’m sure Benji would have had him in against the bulldogs.

Weve finished ahead of them 5 times in 14 years and two of those were on points differential.

The point being with the talent they have had in previous seasons the Titans have under achieved.

When David Fifita is motivated he is close to the best second rower in the NRL, but sometimes you watch him play and think this bloke is not trying.
Our young back rowers didn’t set the world on fire against at the Bulkdogs, but they still went better than Fifita did against the Broncis, he was abysmal.

He should have left there and go to the roosters he is going stale up there could be proven wrong, but I think the mad professor doesn't have the same impact as yesteryear.
