Feel gutted for the Cows, really do. They were my bandwagon team too…always will have a soft spot for our fellow GF opponents plus they have my 2 favourite players (not including Tigers) Bowen and Thurston.
Listened to the press conference, Henry was blowing up deluxe. Manly have a great team no doubting that but fmd...

Steve Clark must be on borrowed time, surely. He has made so many wrong video ref decisions this year it's almost criminal. What is obvious to all the commentators and all of us watching the same replay at home, he simply refuses to see. He is either blind or on the take. Either way he needs to be sacked, he just cost the Cowboys their season.

I thought the Taufua try was okay_it wasnt clear cut but benefit of the doubt was okay, there was no double movement there.
As for the Foran knock-on for the other try….the NRL is corrupt and always gets the match-ups that it wants for the week after. The Cows were ripped off (sorta smells like the WT vs Dogs game).
I am losing interest when it is not a level playing field for both teams FFS :deadhorse:

If its a manly - dogs grand final I won't even turn the tv on to watch it.
On the referees.
It's beyond belief that professional referees can get something's so wrong so often. There's only two possible explanations.
1\. Incompetence. I struggle to understand how these blokes are full time, professional students of the game and still come up with these ridiculous decisions. Every single person apart from manly fans that watched the game will tell you that was a no try.
2\. Corruption. If they aren't incompetent then they are cheating! I know it sounds absurd but it's the only other possible explanation. Either that or there is a different set of rules that haven't been disclosed to anyone else.
If the nrl are manufacturing results then I'll walk away from the game. I find it incredible that we are even mentioning and seriously discussing this, but based on the evidence on offer it is a definate possibility. I really think or rather hope this is not the case and they are simply incompetent fools who are never really held to account.
If there are not cheating then people need to be sacked, not stood down for a week but sacked, gone, released.
Either way they are destroying our game. To me it's the biggest issue in rugby league right now.

Eyes are painted on, they can't be that inept to get these calls wrong, sure does seem like there's something underhanded stuff going on.

The first controversial try was ruled he had momentum & grounded it after he initial put the ball on the ground just before the try line. I wouldn't of given it a green light but i can see how the video ref awarded it on that explanation. On the second howler, it appears everyone that saw it except the two clowns in the video ref box can see Foran's hand touched the ball. What always astounds me on these calls is, it's not like a ref only having the one look at it, but they have countless replays & still get it WRONG.

I think Croker is a big loss. Dugan doesn't look like he could hit the side of a barn
I have only watched 2 finals games so far…last night and the Canberra / Sharks game.
IMO there were 3 'no tries' awarded in the CvS game and 2 last night. I have no doubt that there were some in the other games as well.The referees have been abysmal all year long and WILL decide this years premier.

I agree there is going to be a huge call in the Grand Final & one of the teams will be robbed, these refs are shocking.
