In typical English fashion a New Zealander beat his own countrymen by cheating , with a great bowling performance from a West Indian captained by an Irishman

Eat arse loser !

In all seriousness though , one rule the ICC should change asap is a ball striking batsmen running between the wickets , in the future the ball needs to be classed as dead

i've been scratching my head about this.
i swear about 5 years ago, a rule came out that if the ball deflects off a batsman from an overthrow you can't take any runs from it to encourage fielders to throw more. i've been googling this for a while and can't find anything anywhere but i distinctly remember this rule came out!

Its etiquette. Batsmen won't run if the ball deflects off them. However, if the deflection goes for four, there's nothing that can be done.

Not sure if serious...

Kiwis did not have much luck and were stiff they are not holding the silverware now, but when your batsman ducks under the last ball of your 50 overs without at least having a swipe you have to wonder was it bad luck.

One thing you have to admire is the way they handled the defeat...real sportsman
