Time for a few others to step up - Warner and Usman in particular

It is, but they are not players to rely on!

We would be 2-0 down if Smith didn't play 1st 2 tests.

If you were an Australian selector and were told Smith would be right by day 2 would you have still picked him

I say YES

100% yes, hope to win the toss and bowl.

Lost toss and sent in but Paine saying we’d have batted anyway. Also Taylor saying bowling last a good thing. Suppose it all depends on how many we get

200 odd years ago the poms should have sent the Bulk of population to Australia and left the prisoners in England! What a crap joint! Rain rain rain and it’s bloody summer!!
