the poms batting is disgraceful


Their bowling is not much better,so far we have only been bowled out once in 4 innings for a total of 21 wickets

they had plenty of chances they dropped and no balls over the 2 tests

Unfair on the bowlers. They are creating chances. The field isn't taking the chances.

40 odd overs at the poms today plus a full day. They haven't got 300 in an innings yet.

Starc with a tweak in his back. Looks like it may affect him.

It's not for everyone. I thought it was a good quality contest between bat and ball in the first session. Best session the poms have had so far.

Getting hit in the gonads is a horrendous experience that you don't ever forget,but to be hit there twice in the same day is something only an English captain should ever have.His third blow there will happen after his conga line of eunuchs surrender later today

He hasn’t done too badly besides;
Omits his best 2 bowlers in brisbane on a pitch that would have really helped them.
Opts to bat first on that pitch.
Comes to the crease at 2/11 and makes a duck
Over rates so slow that the team was fined 100% of match fee
Goes into adelaide without a specialist spinner
Loses the crucial toss in adelaide D/N
Doesn't bother to wear a protector in the nets and is hit so badly that he misses most of the day's play
Even his teammates were in stitches when starc hit him in the nuts later in the day

Different formats attract different players. Cricket's popularity would be shot by now if limited overs weren't invented.

Labuschagne has good stats but was extremely lucky in both innings.

Arguably, Labuschagne and Smith are the best Aus batsman.

Different formats attract different players. Cricket's popularity would be shot by now if limited overs weren't invented.

Because they are cheapened by the increasing rules changes to benefit batsmen. Free hits off no balls, pitches that offer nothing to the bowlers. They remove the contest between bat and ball that Test cricket generally offers.

And you're right in that different formats attracting different players. T20 attracts players that would not survive in the prime arena of the game.

T20 to Test cricket is what Nine's is to Rugby League, a novelty loosely based on the better form of the game.
